Hello,

People are getting MRs from NDVO without getting their ECAS updated...is it true?
Yes true...Many applicant are getting MR mail first and after couple of hours or day, their ECAS is updated. Some believe that if ECAS update first than MR is likely to be delayed.

Looks fake to me ...!!
There is no other entry for these 2 people on the forum...

Seems to be fake as their CC encashed date is too close to PER date and as per the SS people having same CC encashed date got their per at the end of july or starting of august however they received in June itself.

Hi Optimist3, You've mentioned "completeness check is currently happening for july last week and 1st week of august". How do we calculate this? I have only seen CC being charged for June 26th application so far in this forum.

Myself and my husband applied separately as principla applicants and the additional documents we sent for my husband's application reached them yesterday 14th October. His Original application was received on 29thJuly. I'm concerned how long they would take to attach the additional documents to the original application.
Hi Anitha,

The reason for my belief is based on the past incidents reported in the forum. Below are few reasons:

1. We had cases reported when apps sent in july were returned while the charging is happening for june. This means, there is a lead time between completeness check and charging.
2. When there were queries sent to CIC they came back with UCI no., but the same applicant got charged after 1 month. This led to the belief that CIC will allocate UCI no. after completeness check.
3. I had been researching CIC process and came across below:

"What Happens Next

The table below represents the phases of the assessment and processing.
Phase: Completeness check

Citizenship and Immigration Canada reviews your application to make sure that:

all required fields in your application forms are complete,
all required documents are submitted from Document Checklist (IMM 5612), and
the correct processing fee payment has been made

If your application is:

incomplete or;
the allowable cap limit has been reached,

your entire package (including your payment) will be returned to you with a letter explaining why it is being returned.
Phase: Eligibility Review

An officer at the CIO will make a final determination as to whether you meet all the eligibility criteria and your application is eligible for processing.

If your application is not eligible for processing, you will be sent a letter that:

explains the reason(s) why your application is not eligible for processing, and
confirms that a refund for the processing fee will be issued.

Phase: Selection and Admissibility

If your application is eligible for processing, your application will be assessed against the following requirements:

minimum requirements
selection factors
sufficient funds
admissibility (criminality, security, medical)

Note: If the initial assessment of your score for points against the selection factors is equal to or greater than the pass mark, your application will be sent by the CIO to the appropriate visa office for further processing and a final decision. If you do not meet the minimum requirements, or do not meet the pass mark against the selection factors, your application will be refused. In either case, a refund of processing fees will not be issued at this stage of the application process."

So, typical processing timelines at CIC, as per me, are as follows:

Completeness Check: Between 8-10 weeks
Charging: Between 10-12 weeks
PER: Between 12-14 weeks

Hope it helps.

As far as your addendum is concerned, it might be added to the application pack.

Thank you.

Hello,

I am an Algerian international student (23year old) in Calgary with a valid study permit, graduated from university in my country in Electrical technology (3 years), and 3 years manager agent experience in Projects management for Architecture and urban planning in my country, I live with my sister in Calgary, I would like to know if there is an option to immigrate in Canada as a federal worker.

for my experience I fit in FSWP 2014 in NOC 2172. is 3 years of experience enough?
for my education (university 3 years diploma in Electrical technology) I fit in FSWP 2014 in NOC 2133 NO experience

what is the NOC better for my case?

do I need offer of employment?

Thanks

SENIORS ?

I am 16 June applicant ,, what is going on ? no update from CIC.

I can see a 7th July applicant got file returned ? are they gone for a completeness check till July ?

Also seen many end June applicants getting charged ?
By the current trends, CIC has started charging applications of 2nd July and we can predict that they are done with the completeness check for the month of JULY.

Keep your hopes UP, you'll get the golden message soon. It might they need some more time to finally charge your application.

Hey guys is it worth sending a CSE to NDVO?

Because it clearly states they wont reply if the enquiry is sent with normal processing times (For Ndvo it's 22 months :-\)

And do you think its worth waiting for a few more weeks before sending out a CSE?

@kimodz:

you need to get your credentials done from CIC recommended institute to claim your study/degree points (I did it from WES, Canada).
For NOC, yes you need to match with your job experience not with the degree content.
Hope this helps!
