That's hard to believe. Our expectation is CIC updated CAP to make sure no one applies any further after completeness check (till mid July).
aircanada2014 applied on June 20th and last CC charge was 19th June for this NOC but we do expect more CC charges in this NOC next week.

aircanada2014 - please do not loose hope, you are still in the game!!! All the very best
Your expectation is based on wishful thinking. Probably only a few more, if any, 2174s are left to be charged. For their sake I hope I am wrong.

Hello everybody

I discovered this forum around a week back.
This is a very informative forum and I appreciate the effort by all ppl here
especially the seniors.

I had a few questions regarding FBI PCC from India.
1. I am in a lookout for fingerprinting services near Kolkata. Can someone tell me about any consultants in that area?

2. What are the charges for the same?
I asked one consultant and they said Rs 6,000 plus taxes just for fingerprinting.
That seems a lil high.

3. Do we need to get the fingerprinting done from a registered company or any consultant will do?

4. Do I need the US state level PCC too? I didnt get a definite reply from prev posts here.

Thanks in advance for ure help.
Note: I am a July 30th applicant and havent received any msg from CIC yet.

Dear Forum Mates,

Is there anyone who has applied from India and had taken PCC from Hong Kong basis the request from CIC.

Although procedure is clearly laid down in CIC website that PCC from Hong Kong has to be sent directly to the Visa Office, but there is no details in PCC forms of Hong Kong. Now how do they know that PCC has to be sent to NDVO directly.

Also please let me know how many days did HK police department took to send the PCC.

Please help, I'm running out of time.
This will be hard to answer as HKVO has been completely silent so far and nobody has got their request letter to take to the HK PCC office. However I have got my fingerprints done there for USA PCC, and asked them about the HK PCC. They have experience with this, and if you let them know where it needs to be sent and provide the contact info I believe they can take care of it.

Iam 11june DD .. still no mail ....

is ATIP REQUESTS is wise solution ...

http://www.caips.ca/

Is it wise solution....? they charge 40$ for providing information for your file......!!
It costs you five dollars if you have a friend or relative in Canada. I found this on the forum, hope this helps.

.................................................................................................

I am starting this thread because of repeated enquiries on how to order latest CAIPS / GCMS and what forms we need to download. So here we go once for all. Many thanks.......

1) Sir Kanamen is doing it for free.

Sir Kanamen is offering CAIPS / GCMS for free. If some body wants to use him here is the link

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/caipesfree-offer-t88238.0.html

2) But if you want to order it on your own there are two ways.

a) If you have a friend / relative in canada it would cost you just $5 and you will get that in around 30 days.

b) If you don't have a relative or friend in Canada then you can get it from websites and it would cost around $25-$40 and you will get in six to eight weeks..

Check this

a) If you have a relative / friend in Canada

As you have a relative / friend there it would cost you just $5. Its very easy. Your relative / friend will order this on your behalf and he will be the requester. It can be done by email and your relative / requester can send scan copies of everything. Your relative / friend will receive CAIPS / GCMS notes in his email.

First fill the following form but your relative / friend will sign it as he is the requester.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5563E.pdf

Then you will have to fill this consent form and sign yourself

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5475E.pdf

Now according to latest IMM5563E form you can even pay fees online if you are not living in Canada and there is no need to fill any credit card form. Pay fees online, get receipt, fill it and then scan and attach with application. Its very easy. Go to section C of the following form then follow other links given below.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5563E.pdf (See section C)

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/index.asp

https://eservicesak.cic.gc.ca/epay/lineofbusiness.do

After payment take 2 copies of print out of receipt. Keep one copy for yourself and attach other with application.

Ask your relative to provide copy of his Canadian passport or PR card and copy of his recent bill or bank statement as a proof that he is currently living in Canada

Ask him to scan everything and send everything by email to

atip-aiprp @ cic.gc.ca

b) If you don't have a relative / friend in Canada

try these websites. You will get in around 6-8 weeks.

a) http://www.caips.ca/
b) http://caipsnotes.com/index.shtml
c) http://www.caipsretriever.com/2006/03/immigrants-life-in-toronto-canada-ii.html
d) www.lawpoint.ca ($25 only)

morientemi, your inbox is full. I have tried to reply to you.

Not only was it a consultant, it was a lawyer, who should REALLY know better!!!
future_canadian: Is it alright if one provides self attested letter and supporting documents such as certifications, appointment letter, promotions, relieving letter issued at the time of leaving. I did this in my application, but that was not the primary NOC and I was not too worried at that time.

Response to your 4 questions.

1. Check Just dial. and say if the guy on the phone ask if he can mark your request to other service providers. That way, you wil receive back to back calls from different finger print experts in your area. This should help you in narrowing down to which expert you want to go with.
2. I got mine done for 3 k. That person quoted me 4 k. 3-4 is probably the market price at this time, so you should negotiate. Tell them you got someone who is doing this for 3 k, and then they will revise their offer.
3. You can even do this by yourself. But getting this done from a professional finger print expect is advisable, as your card can be rejected if the prints are not clear.
4. FBI PCC is what is needed and required. But sometimes an applicants finger prints are repeatedly rejected at FBI for having deformed fingers (very very rare cases). For those cases, VO often ask candidates to get State level clerance as an alternate.
Since you have time, you should immediately get your finger prints on FD-258 card and submit to FBI PCC.

To gauge how seasoned and hands on the finger print expert is, you can ask certain questions:
1. For how long you have been doing finger prints for US FBI PCC?
2. Do you have the original FD-258 card. Note: Most part timers who are not experts, will never have original FD-258 card. They will take print out on A4 and then take your finger prints.
3. Insist for 3 copies when you negotiate the price. This is to cover for bad prints on any card. Obviously with more card, you increase your chances of going through in the first attempt. There are people who send one card, and later realize due to bad print, their card was rejected. Better be prudent then sorry.
4. A good finger print expert will first make you do practice a few times before taking your print on the card
