Credit Card charged today morning.
Application received date: 19-Jun, NOC 2174

I had originally applied on 7th May, application was returned on 13-Jun because I forgot to send original WES report. Send back the application with new information the next day.
Also, my job duties were not on Company letter-head, they were written on a blank paper signed by my previous manager. I provided supporting document like offer letter, salary slips and promotion letters.

My application reached CIC on 13-Jun but Credit Card was declined by Bank on 1-Oct and CIC did not try again.

I have a question. If I send a bank draft now, is it an effort worth trying. what are my chances of success by sending a DD now.

Any other thoughts.

Dear senior members ..
Looking at the SS, there are +1700 files that are still to be reviewed before the payment stage. The current rate CIC is working with is around 6 applications per day which means around ~130 applications per month which means they need more 12 months of processing for the applications received to date!

What I understand is that the current program is ending by Apr 15 which gives me impression that not all the current applications in the pipelines would be processed in the current program..

Can you please add your perspective on this point.. Thank you and have a good day.

The SS is just a percentage of the real applications sent. It doesn't contain all the applicants who send their files. Currently CIC is processing a bout 500 files per week

they will try again. generally they try 3 times before rejecting any application

Hello All!!

Received Medical, RPRF and PCC request from NDVO today. I have updated the spreadsheet with a new entry and request the admins to delete the old entry.

Also I have a query with regards to the validity of the visa being issued.

Is the validity of the visa one year from the date of MR request or from the date of medicals being taken?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

They do 3 attempts, 2 days apart, I think. In my case, CIC tried first on Sept. 30th. It was declined and luckily, I found out. I called my bank to let them know that the charge will come again, and to allow it go through. On Oct. 2nd, my CC was charged.

CIC will attempt to charge the card again, just make sure the bank is aware. There's is no guarantee that they will match your DD to your application.
