Hello All!!

Received Medical, RPRF and PCC request from NDVO today. I have updated the spreadsheet with a new entry and request the admins to delete the old entry.

Also I have a query with regards to the validity of the visa being issued.

Is the validity of the visa one year from the date of MR request or from the date of medicals being taken?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

Regards
Congrats! :) So it takes 5 months from date of application for MR and PCC from NDVO? But is this an average or will the time taken be more for people who applied later than 25th May? And will NDVO always send MR,PCC and RPRF together? or will these events be separated by few days?

Hi all,

I submitted my application on 30-07-2014, but i just received my wife's IELTS results. Can i send the results to CIC?Will it affect the time that my application is opened?

I estimate that with my current application, i can get 71 points, but to be on a safer side, an extra 4 points would help.

Please let me know, masters in the house.

Just relax mate more than 67 is enough

Thanks.

Called FBI, my application is in their DB. Good.
I have to buy time from CIC now
JUST TO GIVE EVERYONE A TIME FRAME OF FBI REQUEST.
I had sent FBI PCC with my application. But since it's only valid for 6 months, I thought it's a good idea to request one while waiting for my file to be transferred to local VO - Ottawa.
My application was delivered to FBI - ClarksBurg, WV on September 15.
My CC was charged today after 17 working days OR 23 calendar days.
I will update everyone again when I receive the PCC.
I am in the US and used CC form as mode of payment

Hi all,

If an applicant uses a representative who resides in US or Canada for the application, then can the applicant choose CPC-Ottawa as the VO???
No. It is where YOU reside or are a citizen.

Application received date: 19-Jun, NOC 2174

I had originally applied on 7th May, application was returned on 13-Jun because I forgot to send original WES report. Send back the application with new information the next day.
Also, my job duties were not on Company letter-head, they were written on a blank paper signed by my previous manager. I provided supporting document like offer letter, salary slips and promotion letters.
congrats and well done sticking to it and not being discouraged

Thanks for your prompt reply. How ever, I would like to know the following regarding my work experience

It is one year experience which start with a 3 month contract, which got renewed for another 3 months and then for another 7 months which makes a total period of 13 months. I do have all contract extension letters and a final letter from them, stating that I have worked for them from July 2011 till Aug 2012. Would it be ok or the contract thing does not fit in FSW profile.....

Please comment

1. Check the cap page and spreadsheet. You are ok but don't dawdle.

2. Not true. They are completely separate programs.

3. No effect, but you can't do your landing in Quebec nor can you say that you intend to live in Quebec.

Thanks.

Im just thinking that if i can claim a few more points, i should because my calculations of points may be inaccurate....Hopefully, it would be okay, but just in case.....

Would it be complicated to send the IELTS results to them now that i have already submitted my application?

Dear XXXXXXXXXXX:

An interview concerning your application for permanent residence in Canada has been scheduled for you on Interview New Delhi 2014/11/05 09:30:00
PLEASE NOTE THAT INTERVIEW DATE FORMAT IS YEAR/MONTH/DATE at the Canadian High Commission, 7/8 Shantipath, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi-110021. To allow sufficient time to pass through security, please appear at least 15 minutes but not more than 30 minutes before your scheduled interview time.
Your spouse and all dependent children 18 years and over must attend the interview with you. Children under 18 do not need to attend unless we have requested it. If you have adopted a child other than by court order, the natural parents and the child must also attend the interview.
The Immigration Section of the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi provides interpretation services for Hindi and Punjabi only. Economic class applicants who require an interpreter for another language must engage the services of a qualified professional interpreter from an approved list of interpretation companies. This approved list of interpretation companies is attached to this letter. Should the applicant come to interview without one of these interpreters, the interview will be rescheduled, leading to processing delays. Interpreters other than from the firms on the approved list will not be accepted.
Please note that the figures quoted by the interpretation companies are not negotiable. Further, the companies have no connection to the High Commission and cannot assist you in any way to improve your chances of obtaining a visa. Should you attempt to negotiate on either on these items, we have instructed the companies to refuse to take you as a client. Thirdly, the companies should be contacted during business hours only. Guys,

On my passport my name is in this format: "Surname Realname Father's Name Singh"
But on some of the following document my name is as follows:
EPF Account Statement:"Singh, Realname"
SSC Marksheet: "Surname Realname Father's Name"
Bank Account: "Realname Singh Surname"

I need to use the SSC mark sheet as a proof of date of birth but with "Singh" missing out of the name mentioned on the mark sheet I am confused if that will create any problem.
Also, I need to use my EPF account statement as proof of funds so I am confused if this will create any problem.

Please suggest if these will be of any problem or I can go ahead with these?
