Please don't give wrong information. Indian holidays have nothing to do in Canada.

1) Credit cards and debit cards are managed by third party vendor like VISA , Master , Amex etc worldwide . Issuing countries holidays have nothing to with their debit and credit.

2) International CAD DD's once issued, the funds are parked in the Vostro account of their Canadian correspondent bank. DD's will pass irrespective of holidays in India unless they find that the instrument is fake.

Hi Seniors,

Congrats to all who have been moving ahead in their journey to Canada. I have small confusion with Job reference letter.

I can get my JD acknowledged by my superior in A4 paper and get it Notorised. I can provide my Appointment letter, promotion letter and latest payslips which also is notorised.

My question is does the affidavit need to be on behalf of my manager or me??

And any idea about the format and details required in the affidavit??

Also i can get an experience letter from my HR, but the i would have to give them a reason for getting it like "Loan". And this would feature in the letter they provide. Would the CIC officer accept it??

My application reached CIC on 13-Jun and Credit Card was declined by Bank on 1-Oct and CIC did not try again.

Pls. help suggest if I can do something now by contacting CIC or by sending a bank draft now etc.

I am in severe distress as I wasn't ready for such pain. Is anyone aware of any such situation which was resolved by someone contacting CIC in some manner.

Pls. help.

Best thing to do would be to tell your bank that u r travelling to canada from today and to enable canadian transactions. Atb

The only way to know is to enable e- alert system for all the failed and successful transactions in your AMEX card .

Remember , AMEX got a fraud protection system which declines international transactions above a certain limit . Few weeks back one member reported the same, later he solved the issue by calling the card team and removed the block. CIC successfully completed the transaction on 2nd attempt.

So better to mention them in advance

1) When and how did you came to know about your rejection.
2) Does CIC intimate u with an email regarding the reason before your documents reaches you. Approximately how many days will it take to reach your documents back.
3) Do u now have ur UCI number to track ur future application.

Your answers would be of great help if in case my application would be rejected.
I am a 4 June applicant with Noc 1111, but no news for did charged yet. Loosing hope now.

Got PER on : Aug 14th
ECAS status updated 2nd line: :We started processing your application on Sep 23rd"
I am little worried because all those got Medical in Spread Sheet those applicants got MR after the 2nd line Update in ECAS with in 5 Days maximum period.
Mine it almost 15 days after the 2nd update in ECAS.
Anybody knows why it is delayed.
Please give me advise

Hello seniors. A friend of mine is applying for 3111 as a specialist physician (doctor). The issue is that he only does private practice and has been doing so for about 10 years now. What kind of proof of experience can he give. I read that letters from his patients detailing services rendered and amount charged will be needed
Anybody have a rough estimate of how that letter should be written? Also will any ID documents be required from the patients who give such a letter. And in total how many such letters should ideally be attached with the application?

I personally have little idea about this so any help would be greatly appreciated.
