CC charged: 25/09/14
PER received: 01/10/14

Its done! June 4th applicant. Still My DD is not encashed. Applicants of some June 4th, 5ht 6th DD are encashed but not mine. i guess it is completed and Guess my application is rejected.

vasumaaney .. I hope it's not .. People here have waited too long sometimes to get their DD's encashed .
Hope for the best .. I assure you . This is just the delay due to DD encashment. Had it been a CC, you would have got the confirmation by now.
DD a secure method of giving Fee.
Don't worry .. I think you'll be safe...

This is a great forum, appriciate help of senior's for replying to queries.
My Credit Card got charged yesterday.

Application Received - 12th June
Credit Card Charged - 30th Sept
NOC - 2174

But I have one question that I applied for myself, my spouse and 2 kids. So the total CAd is 1400, but they deducted only 1258. I dont know why? if you guys have any Idea then please let me know.

Also regarding PCC I'm from India and currently studying in US, So should I apply for PCC in Indian Embassy at Washington DC or do I have to follow up with FBI in US. The reason I'm asking is because if you check the CIC website they say for Non Resident we have to contact Indian Embassy for PCC and the wait time is only 10 Business days. Please advise. Your help is greatly Appriciated.

The Guide contains instructions for translated documents. You must follow it exactly.

1. The translation must be notarized.
2. You must provide an affidavit from the translator.
3. You must provide a certified copy of the untranslated original document.

Anything less risks rejection.

After reading all the suggestions by Member. What i understand of the Notarised is that

only Translated documents need notarisation.

and rest of the documents which you photocopied can be True Certified or can be used with out true certified copy as this is not mandatory.

Please let me know if my understanding is correct.

Its great to see 5th June and 6th June apps getting PER today..... I am 9th June DD applicant I checked with my bank today they said its still outstanding..... When the 9th June DD's will get encashed???

i think there is less chance of quota being filled this year as only 193 application are processed...you should go ahead......

there is list of 2015 Express entry is out and they are the same professions like this years you can also check that......

My take is that you are raising the white flag way to early. Case adjudicators work with different speed, so your application might just be waiting it's turn. Moreover, you applied with DD, which pushes the review date further. Saying that, I don't think your concerns are justified at this time.

1) 1258 might be in USD which is equivalent to CAD 1400

2)You need to apply for Indian PCC in Indian Embessy

3)If you have stayed in US for more than 6 Months , you also need to apply for FBI background verification ...

If you require FBI verification , don't wait any further as the processing time right now is 3 Months

1) daily following up with bank and even today they are saying DD not encashed.
2) Already applied to QSW, going to withdraw my file soon

Congrats Bro.....So that means the Bank ppl cannot tell us the exact status of the DD... BTW When was ur DD encashed..?? n which bank??
