For New Delhi,India Residents - Does anyone has any idea whether the online PCC issued through the newly launched PCC service at the Delhi police website for residents of Delhi is acceptable by Delhi visa office? Has anyone sent such PCC or enquired about the same from Delhi visa office? Reply would be highly appreciated.

In "Your travels form" Should I only include the travels I made to another country. Or should I include the period which I came back to my country as well. For example, I traveled to Saudi from Jan 2008 and stayed there till Oct 2008. Then I came back on vacation on Nov 2008 and stayed in Native country till End of Dec 2008. Then again fled back on Jan 2009.
So should that vacation period of 2 months in the native country be also included?

I suggest, your passport stamps should match this form .

But, if someone sends some additional documents, wouldn't CIC consider the application date to be the "new" date on which these additional documents were received? I don't they will just append your documents, otherwise everyone would start sending their additional documents just by sending a basic application on day 1 !

Could you please throw some light on what happens to the application date?

I am pretty interested in knowing this, since I've sent my manager's letter as proof of employment job responsibilities. Now there is a slight chance that my company might give me an official letter with due stamps/signatures, etc.

If they give this letter, I would also contemplate sending it as an additional document. But I'm worried if I do this, and they consider a new date of application, I'll miss the NOC 2171 group.

There are people who had sent additional documents and they have been accepted by the CIC. And sending the documents, knowing that we have missed few, is always better than not sending them because if the file has to be rejected because of the missing documents, then it will get rejected but if CIC considers the additional documents sent by us, then result will be in our favour. So, there is no harm at all in sending the additional documents.

Regarding the application number, members of this forum have been saying that it doesn't affect the file number.

Ottawa = recent update = MR for May - week 4 + PPR for week 2
New Delhi = recent update = MR for May week 3 with No PPR till date

Which week 3 applicant got MR from NDVO ? I think only week 2 applicants got it. (according to ss)

Yes, Both of you have to be present in PSK to apply for PCC. Since, the permanent address ( mentioned in PP ) and current address are same you will get the PCC on the same day and they shall enter in your passport they have issued a PCC on that day. They will take your picture and fingerprints. Your picture will be on the PCC issued by them. No other document is required, just a self attested photo copy of PP.

It took me an hour and 45 minutes from entering the PSK( Chennai) till receiving the PCC. So be prepared for a couple of hours stay ( it might be issued earlier/later than that too ).

I've one basis query and need help on the issue. I've applied for PCC through PSK at Delhi. They have issued me 2 original PCCs. Do I need to send both the PCCs or only one original can be sent, and the other I can keep for any future requirement.
Do they normally issue 2 originals itself? Anybody with PCC issued from PSK in India - kindly advise and help me out.

My spouse went to PSK for PCC, but they told her to wait 2-3 days to get PCC.

I thought PSK offers it same day. Why delay on her case?

You get PCC on same day only if your passport is issued within one year of that date

Hi Seniors,

I just got my package back yesterday after a very long wait. The reason for rejection is that the NOC that i have applied under and the JD that i provided in the company letterhead do not provide enough evidence that i have performed the duties required in the Lead Statement.

I applied under NOC - 1112.
App reached : May 12.
App Processed date July 18th.
App received : Sep 24th

Needed some help from experienced people in the forum to advise on which NOC i can apply under. I'm into the fund services industry with 5 and half years of experience in Financial Reporting, Fund accounting department. PLEASE HELP!!! Below are the main Job duties that i perform on a day to day basis.

Responsible for detailed review of interim and annual financial statements for the Investment Funds under NT administration. Which includes internal audit of Balance sheet, Income Expense Statement, Capital movement & Cash flows statement.

Review and preparation of word draft annual report for auditors' review along with notes to accounts including Financial Reporting Standard compliance notes.

A Subject Matter Expert (SME) with in‐depth technical knowledge of IFRS and responsible for training and mentoring junior analysts.

Performing daily reviews of client deliverables, maintenance of accounts according to Service level agreement which includes checking and correcting discrepancies.

Preparation & Review of Portfolio Statement to be included in the annual report. This involves downloading description information of securities from Bloomberg for Country classification, nature of investment, maturity dates etc.

Review and preparation of General Expense budgets updated every quarter across all funds managed by Northern Trust Ireland region.

Preparation of German Tax for all the funds that have German investors to facilitate the filing of tax returns in their country as per transparency principle of Germany.

Manage daily operational activities and supervise day‐to‐day work of junior level employees along with timely feedback on their work.

Responsible for ensuring that the team goals for accuracy and timeliness are maintained.

You just need to send 1 original and keep the other one with you.
