Hello Friends,

Two days before i had posted one query regarding my ECAS status. Which was visible earlier as "In Process" but it was back to "We were not able to identify you using the information you provided"

As suggested by "SAPS" wait for two days and then send email, i was about to send email to CIC but all of sudden, i thought of giving it an another shot with my first name only.
and IT WORKED !!!.

For almost 2-3 weeks, i was able to see my ECAS by entering Surname.

I added surname in 2011 which is registered on 2nd page of passport(Hand written) along with that i had submitted same name person Affidavit.
As my school certificates and Degree bears my first name only.

I think perhaps its due to first page of passport which bears first name only (Machine readable),
they have changed it.
May be this post can help, if anyone faces this situation in future.

Yes.. but dont worry... CIC usually work on 2-3 days applications simultaneously these days due to lesser applications each day.. kepp ur fingers crossed...

Can any one suggest where I can get finger prints done for FBI in Hyderabad.

Please suggest a good and reliable one.

Thinking to get both from frderal and state PCC reports from USA.

Find out Govt forsenic dept, or through police station
Federal is enough, unless Visa office asks for state specifically.

NOC : 2174

Guys,

Second line in my ECAS is updated - file processing has started on 17th Sept, NDVO. I still did NOT get my MR. However many applicants got their MR within almost 3 days from the time 2nd line is updated.

Please suggest if this is normal or any cases like these seen in the past. Out of curiocity and anxiousness.

Dear Konakalla, usually 45-60 days after PER for MR, PCC etc.

WOw, so they are charging june 9 applicant. Who received your application? Under what NOC?

02 June applicant, CC was charge 18 Sept.
