I would like to congratulate one and all on India's successful maiden Mars mission. Just like we guys plan to enter the land of Red Maple Leaf, India's Mars spacecraft entered into the orbit of the Red Planet earlier today. This has been described as "the cheapest inter-planetary mission ever to be undertaken by the world". If interested, more below..

Federal Skilled Worker Class
Cap on the number of applications to be processed
A maximum of 25 500 new complete applications submitted for
the Federal Skilled Worker Class, without an offer of arranged
employment, will be considered for processing for the period of
May 1, 2014, to April 30, 2015,
unless otherwise indicated in a
future Ministerial Instruction. The maximum of 25 500 new complete
applications is allocated as follows:
1. A maximum of 25 000 applications will be considered
for processing under an occupation list stream. Within the
25 000 cap, a maximum of 1 000 applications submitted for each
eligible occupation set out below will be considered for processing;
and
2. A maximum of 500 applications will be considered for processing
under a PhD student/graduate stream.
For further clarity, there is no limit on the number of new applications
with offers of arranged employment that will be considered
for processing.
In calculating the caps, applications will be considered in order
of the date they are received. Applications received on the same
date will be considered for

Hi, can anyone provide some help here?

I noticed that the CIC website updated complete application numbers every Monday, but was wondering what does it stand for? Does it mean the number of applications post-prescreen? or the numbers of post-PER applications?

Dear Seniors, I have the same question. Can somebody clarify what does the number of applicants stand for? Is it the number of applicants who passed the completence check or who got their PER?

Dear friends I have one doubt,I was sent my RPRF,PCC,and some papers to NDVO before last Monday.my bluedart courier status is delivered.but no confirmation And no mail from NDVO is it normal??am planing to take medicals next month.plz give me ur inputs.thanksin advance

First Time it took me longer to get PCC (aprox.2 months) but second and third was quick and easy.

I am sorry to say correspondence education is not considered as full time education. Hence, it is not valid for the process.

Not so fast. There is nothing about 'full time' education in CIC.

You need to send your documents to WES for an equivalence check. Thats the best way to be assured.

Although this is my first post but I have been following this forum since day one.

By God's grace I have received the PER mail couple of hours back. Below are the details:

App received: 30th May
CC charged: 17th Sep (day before my B'day..can't expect a better gift)
PER rcvd: 24th Sep
NOC: 1123

I am thankful to everyone on this forum for their valuable feedback, experiences and suggestions.

Dear all,

1. In the personal history part in the background declaration for the past 10 years, what if I need additional 2 more columns to complete all the info without any gaps in time??
I have read that I can use additional white paper, If so should I be taking an additional printout of the same form to complete the details or Something differently need to be done?

2. In the additional family information form, should I be mentioning details of my sister's husband, their kids as well and my brother's wife and their kids as well??
What if I needed additional space for mentioning all this??

By God grace, today I received SUPERRR AMAZING MAIL showing PER from CIC at 6:58 PM IST.. ;D :-* :-* ;D

NOC: 2173
App Date: 2 June
DD encashed: 17 Sept
PER received: 24 Sept

WHAT A RELIEF - though can't express my happiness through this post. All the very best to all other waiting applicants...

Some observations for waiting and preparing applicants:
1) I sent a BC of myself and my wife which didn't have our names. Though I included 10th certificate in education certificates for both.
2) I sent ICICI DD which didn't have any validity mentioned, so by default its validity is 6 months.
3) Our marriage certificate dont have my wife's maiden name.
4) I shared multiple documents of my wife documents to cic, one of the document didn't have middle name of her father and others do have. But no problem due to this.

Thanks a lot to all the members(Century, Kollins, Asif and all...).

I lost link to edit my entry in spreadsheet, so can't edit my entry in spreadsheet - admin can you please update the same or i will create a new row.

Some more observations from my side:
--> Envelope in which app sent was bigger than size than CIC mentioned. So size doesn't matter.
--> I have shown assets and liabilities which didn't affect final outcome of my app.
