Dear Friends,

By God grace, today I received SUPERRR AMAZING MAIL showing PER from CIC at 6:58 PM IST.. ;D :-* :-* ;D

NOC: 2173
App Date: 2 June
DD encashed: 17 Sept
PER received: 24 Sept

WHAT A RELIEF - though can't express my happiness through this post. All the very best to all other waiting applicants...

Some observations for waiting and preparing applicants:
1) I sent a BC of myself and my wife which didn't have our names. Though I included 10th certificate in education certificates for both.
2) I sent ICICI DD which didn't have any validity mentioned, so by default its validity is 6 months.
3) Our marriage certificate dont have my wife's maiden name.
4) I shared multiple documents of my wife documents to cic, one of the document didn't have middle name of her father and others do have. But no problem due to this.

Thanks a lot to all the members(Century, Kollins, Asif and all...).

I lost link to edit my entry in spreadsheet, so can't edit my entry in spreadsheet - admin can you please update the same or i will create a new row.

For updating the SS you can follow the below steps:

Spreadsheet Entry/Resubmit Process
Click http://tinyurl.com/FSW14-Entry --> fill form and click submit --> Click Edit your Response --> Go to the newly opened page -->from the address bar, save the link/bookmark for future update.

Spreadsheet Update Process:
Open the saved/bookmarked link --> update information.

Lost my Edit Response Link:
Resubmit and follow Spreadsheet Entry/Resubmit Process explained above

Hello everybody!
Is anyone from Pakistan here?
I am from Iran but I have spent 2 years in Pakistan for studies and now CIC asked me to provide police certificate from Pakistan police for the period that I spent in Pakistan.
Anyone knows how long it takes to get a police clearance in Pakistan?
Do you advise to go there personally to get it or do it through embassy?

Per : 10/09/14

Obtained PCC for India today. Have applied for FBI Identity History Summary and it reached today.

Has anyone mailed NDVO about delay in obtaining PCC from USA and got extension for the same? Since the FBI website says 8-10 weeks I am lil worried about it.

I applied on June 6th for NOC 2174. At the time of application, I did not live in Canada.

Now I moved to Canada on a study permit.

How should I update my address? Should I do it right now through CIO-Sydney-Search-Enquiry @ cic.gc.ca or should I wait until I receive my PER?

Please help me with this... Thanks

my friend did his graduation (B.A.) through correspondence from a recognized university......is he eligible for 21 points .....as some consultant told him that he is not eligible as his graduation is through correspondence ....
