All CIC wants to establish is that you are working FULL TIME NOT PART TIME. Either FULL TIME EMPLOYEE or NUMBER OF HOURS, written on employment leter suffice. However, if both are not written, even then dont worry. If you have not submitted your application provide your employment contract, it will have some reference to your state of employment. Even, if it has nothing, still no need to worry most probably they will ask you for clarification or schedule an interview. If you are not doing anything, they understand that you are full time employee.

Most important is your Duties and Responsibility.

NO ONE is clear about it, as CIC has not clarified it. To be on a safe side assume that you get points only for your PRIMARY NOC (for which you are applying, not for others even if they are in eligible list).

Regarding experience letter, submit copy of regular experience certificate (without duties & other specific requirements) for work bcuz u need to prove what you were doing during those years.

I would agree with this interpretation.
they consider total experience as long as it is in Skill Type 0, Skill Level A or B.
I have confirmed this with more than one consultant.

I thinks its very clear in the form when they ask for your primary NOC (for which you want to claim points for employment).. even though if you provide experience of 2 or more NOCs but you will get points for the primary NOC you have provided!

Seems like percentage of total applications received so far, not percentage of that NOC's cap.

Hi seniors plz help me out here.........

My father's name is not on my birth certificate nor any other else document...............should i leave Quest. 4 on the Schedule background/declaration '' not applicable'' or is that info, relevant to CIC............ :'(

You should put on as much information as you have about your father in the appropriate spaces on the documents. Anything you can't fill in, attach an additional sheet and explain why.

Not a problem if it is mentioned as unemployed. this two months will be considered as the searchig or buffer period for the next job.

I disagree. All questions should be answered completely and accurately.

Instead I suggest filling in the information about the job you had for two months and attaching an additional sheet of explanation why you cannot obtain a reference letter.

My wife had a previous employer that went bankrupt and could no longer be contacted for a letter. We just explained it on an additional information sheet.

In your case, a 2-month job where a letter is unavailable is not likely to cause a problem unless it makes the difference between meeting the minimum standard of 1 year of relevant experience or not, or unless it makes the difference between obtaining enough points under the experience selection factor to reach the pass mark or not.

I got experience of 6 years at NOC 1112 and 2 years of experience of NOC 0111. I applied for NOC 0111.

Sam got only experience at NOC 1112 for 4 years. Sam applied for NOC 1112.

Don't you think, it is irrational and discremanotory if Sam got more points where I have more experience not only at his occupation but also some other occupation? Primary NOC is required for eligible criteria only not for point calculation. CIC's guideline does say so.

Last/Family/Sir name = Last Name
First Name/Given Name = First Name

No additional name. If you middle name does not appear in Your passport in any other above category DO NOT INCLUDE IT.

e.g. your full name is First Middle Last
But Your Passport says
Last/Family/Sir name = Last
First Name/Given Name = First Middle

Then use it,

If it says

Last/Family/Sir name = Last
First Name/Given Name = First

DONT USE IT.

Really need to know. My passport says:

Last/Family/Sir name = Umar
First Name/Given Name = Abdullah Ibne

Then should i fill the form like:

Family name = Umar
Given name(s) = Abdullah Ibne

is it OK??
