Hi, can anyone provide some help here?

I noticed that the CIC website updated complete application numbers every Monday, but was wondering what does it stand for? Does it mean the number of applications post-prescreen? or the numbers of post-PER applications?

I sent old Generic form signed on June 14 and dispatched on afternoon of June 18 which was received by CIC on June 23.

The form was changed on June 17 i.e. night of June 18 in india i guess....

Plz advice, should i send a new generic form to replace the earlier generic form..........

hello everyone,
My application reached cic office on 25 august. I have applied under NOC 0911 which is a cold NOC so there is nothing to worry about CAP but my biggest concern at this very moment is that my self assessed points equals 67.

1. Education= 23 points ( Integrated bachelor+masters 5 years , though WES have mentioned on front page that Canadian equivalence=Bachelors and Masters degree but they put a star in end at last page stating due to integrated nature of program it was not possible to differentiate between undergraduate and graduate study-which make me anxious whether they will award me full 23 points

2. IELTS ( R-7.5, L-8.5, S-7, W-6.5) = 23 points

3. Age = 12 points

4. Experience = 9 points

5. French = DELF A1 ( I dont know whether they will give me any point or not so i have assumed it) = 0 points (do you think they can give me 1 point ..???

TOTAL= 67

So i will like hear valuable opinion of seniors and experienced members about my Education and french points??? Lying exactly on edge is making me nervous ??? ??? ??? :'( :'( :'(

your education looks dicey.. I am not sure you will get 23 points there...

Also for 23 points it says, Note: Degree program must be in one of these fields of study: Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Dentistry, Podiatry, Optometry, Law, Chiropractic Medicine, or Pharmacy.

for 22 points, they need two or mor epost secondary degrees.. I am worried what if they dont even count for 22 points as these are not two degrees..

are you not looking to score in any other category, such as Adaptability?

My suggestion is to send a new form since this is a bit vital info...

U can send it the form right now to CIC...attach a cover letter stating that ur name has not mistakenly provided ...

State ur name+DOB+PP number+UCI (if any)+NOC code+ Date of rcvd...

Also email them to below ID (write "URGENT" on the subject of the email)

Guys, Need your advise.

I had sent my application on 4th September and my company just mentioned that I worked full time with them rather than mentioning the no.of hours worked. I felt that the mention of "full time" should be self explanatory to CIC and did not bother to add any additional supporting to support the mention of "full time".

I am now freaked out as I read somewhere that no.of hours is mandatory. What do I do now. Can I send another letter stating my no.of hours?

It was received on 4th Sept so I assume there is some time left for them to review the application in its entirety.

Full time is sufficient

Until a member, with minimum of 20 posts, one will not allowed to Rate others
i.e. [Good] [Poor] - seen on the left panel of user's details

After 20 posts, one can rate a topic Good/Bad as how good the topic was or how helpful it was. Once "[good] is clicked for one particular user, it will not allow to HIT [good] again until some hours. i'e' Karma action.

I have received a call from Weizmann Forex Ltd (from them i got the DD of IndusInd Bank). They said the validation period of 6 months is of no use. The Beneficiary has to use it within 3 months only. Otherwise it will be counted as expired. Moreover, This type of DD cannot be re-validate. I have to go to branch with original DD to cancel it.

This is so ridiculous... I am totally confused and don't know what to do! I have also called IndusInd and they are saying the same thing. :-\ :-\ :-\
I don't think they are following any RBI guidelines :'(

Go with the rbi circular and ask them to write to their forex deptt/ ho and seek clarification. They are not the father of RBI

Guys, Need your input.

I have landed in a dispute with an immigration consultant from canada, he is a registered member of ICCRC. I had signed a contract with some payment schedule, an installment is due according to that agreement, but i do not wish to pay him because of his poor services and several mistakes he has made since the submission of application. I have emails supporting to my claim that he has made few mistakes since beginning and provided me false information on my application status. I had an altercation yesterday and he told me that if i dont pay the due installment, he may land me in trouble legally.

I am bit confused, should i really bother about his threat?

I am May 22nd aplicanat, NOC 2131 ...Still my CC have not been charged. I have also written a follow up mail to CIC and as understood it takes 1 month for there reply. Atleast if I am notified of any missing document or details.. I can act accordingly before my CAP reaches..

CIC declared a PCC is valid for one year. So, don't worry on this validity issue. There will be no issue on this.

Need you opinion please

I am 28th May applicant and received PER on 22nd September, I have submitted two PCC along with my applications, one from Pakistan and one from Saudi Arabia. The one I have submitted from Pakistan has a note on it "This certificate is valid from 13-5-14 till 13-8-14 for obtaining visa / immigration from Saudi Arabia

As per my understanding, this means that this certificate can be used along with an immigration application within the three months period mentioned. Which is the requirement of CIC also. please correct me if I am wrong.

Normally certificates are valid for 1 year time. as many of them dont mention such dates on it, my saudi arabia PCC donot have any date of expiry or something.

Whats your opinion on this?
