Please send me the affidavit format for BC ( from parents side to explain the reason for not having name in BC certificate for their child)
My friend have BC without name in it, however, his parents name has been written), also he has 10th certificate for the confirmation of Date of birth with father name.

There is only one date is mentioned on it... The issue date. But When I call them they themselves said that it is only valid for 3 months.

I am the primary applicant, my husband's father was born in Pakistan. I don't think any documentation will be available for that.
So, do i need to mention Pakistan in place of birth or can I mention their residence place?

And for th Birth certificate u can follow below:


Alternatives to birth certificate are as follows which is accepted by CIC's

We do accept Secondary school records that contain the following :

Applicant's Name
Date of Birth
Name of Parent/Parents

If you are not able to provide a Birth certificate with all 3 criteria, we require an affidavit stating all of this information or that a Birth certificate cannot be attained.

So 10th standard school certificate or an affidavit containing applicants name, date of birth and Parent/Parents name should be fine in lieu of a birth certificate. Also you must give reason in a cover letter why you were not able to provide birth certificate and that you are providing 10th standard school certificate / affidavit in lieu of birth certificate.

I do not visit this forum regularly. Hence need your help in this matter. My NOC code is 2131. My application was received on 20th June 2014 by CIC. Is it possible to guess (may be wild) by what date my DD would be encashed and by what date i shall receive PER if I qualify. Any info what date application is being charged now ? Your help would be highly appreciated.

SGVO does not follow any specific timeline ....They are now sending PPR to the 35-42 months older applicants...

Usually its assumed that PPR will be sent within 2.5-3 months from the date of Medical ....

Can u please share ur NOC on which u have applied?

Currently cio charging for 6th june cc. Looking at current speed 20 june cc will be charged after mid of oct. Since u are dd applicant so add another 15 days to that so end of oct.

Hope you have updated ur entry in ss. If not i would eequest you to do that. Atleast this much we owe to this forum in lieu of taking help.

After getting the PER email in which UCI will be mentioned- u can access to the ECAS by using that UCI number .....

By default or as per CIC guideline, ur ECAS will be updated after getting the PER....

So buddy , wait for that Email...

Reposting it since my query got buried in flood of posts

Need Help..!!

While cross checking my forms, I realized that I forgot to mention my name in Fee Payment Form under Section A (Name of Principal Applicant). Since my method of payment is DD, I should have done that.

Is this is a major error?? (I have mentioned my name and passport number at the back of the DD). If yes, then I guess I need to send a new Fee Payment Form to CIO hoping that they will consider it.

Kindly advise..!!
