Hi, I am a new member and had submitted application last time which got returned as the cap had reached by then. Will my UCI remain the same or I will get new UCI? How to get one? I was reading on CIC website that for first time applicants UCI is Not Applicable but I also applied for the 1st time last year and my consultant gave me UCI id? How did they manage? Appreciate your help.

don't you think it will be confusing putting NOC 0213 where I apply for 2171?
can I put job titile as IT manager but NOC 2171 which reflects reality?.

Dear Abdel brother,

This ques created confusion to lots of applicant ...

U have to fill up ur job title not the Noc title...Though on the NOC name it will be 2171.

So in ur case if ur job title is IT Manager then u should write that one...

Hi Everyone.

Best of luck to all of you.

My questions is that i have BCA,MSC IT(INDIA) and MBA(UK- Latest). So do i send only the highest qualification for Assessment to WES or all of my qualifications? I fear that that if send all them all together, this might delay the process since indian university will not respond on time. And as such i only need my MBA to apply for FSWP.

Please suggest..

I read some where in this forum that only the highest qualification needs to be accessed. is that correct?

FSW2014 is opening from May 1st therefore you have to check all the application forms, instruction guide etc on May 1st in CIC website.

You must sign all updated application forms on or after May 1st.

So even if the forms remain unchanged, i need to update the date on all my forms? God this is a hell lot of rework. My forms are already in Canada. Will have to send them again. (Am using a relative to post the application directly from Canada)

In the Fee payment form. what is a "Certified Chaque" is it the same cross cheque which is account payee only or some thing else.. Plus I have to pay in the amount in Dollars and what if the account is another currency , how the amount of the cheque needs to be calculated.

dont rush, don't sign and date the forms yet, just fill them on pc and keep it saved, once we reach 1st may and don't find any updates on form on cic website, printout all forms. sign and date them and send them across...

Honestly IT Managers has a strong resemblance with 2171 because in my previous company Accenture, Senior Teamleads are also Senior Systems Analyst and in our setting, Senior Teamleads are just one step behind Managers.

Hello to all and Good luck with this new programm.

I have a question and I hope that some of the experienced members will answer me and help me.

Last year I have applied under the FSWP but didn't entered in the required cap of 300 applicants per profession. I have applied under the NOC 0211 Engineering managers and this year this NOC is not available but my current job position is very similar for the NOC 0911 which is available for applying. Infact 0211 and 0911 are very similar NOC's which requires similar duties and same employment requirements.

So can anybody tell me will I have some problems if this year I apply with NOC 0911 or no?
