it is 21 points. An equivalency of 2 yrs diploma does not indicate 2 graduations. If it was a 3 yr diploma then it would have been considered as double graduation.

In this case 21 points.

Canol, please read the link that sss1 posted. It clearly shows that WES assessment of "secondary diploma and diploma (2 years)" is equivalent to a 2 year post-secondary credential.

And double graduation does not have to be both in 3 year+ program. As long as the second diploma is considered post-secondary, it's enough.

Where did you get the post-graduate part? A post-secondary credential is enough. Please read the guideline again. Two or more post-secondary credentials with at least one of them being 3 years or longer will qualify for 22 points. There is no confusion about this at all. This is straight from CIC's guideline that I have quoted.
**Note: Post-secondary educational credentials could also include Post-Bachelor's or Post-Graduate Credentials as follows: Post-Bachelor's Certificate; Post-Bachelor's Diploma; Graduate Certificate; Postgraduate certificate; Postgraduate Diploma; a two-year Postgraduate Diploma, specializing in [name of discipline]; a one-year Postgraduate Certificate in [name of discipline]; and, Study Toward a Master's Degree.

CanOl you promised me to help me with my profile/job duties? ?

yes,

You were to send me the Job duties. you said you were working on them.
Also I am not a Financial inspector, so really don't know that job, but still will try to help to the best of my limited knowledge...

The operative being "could also include", which means these credentials CAN also be considered for 22 points. It does not mean these credentials are the only credentials that can be used.

Saw a post of ashif_eee bro regarding SGVO MR & ECAS update..wondering which year applicants MR has been issued by SGVO...

The last part there only holds true when one is sending the PCC with the initial application, not otherwise. Post application submission one can get a PCC anytime and its validity stays 1 year from date of issue (if validity is not stated less than that, on the PCC itself) as per CIC. :)

Agree completely !! Thanks for pointing out.

CREDENTIAL ANALYSIS
Canadian equivalency : secondary school diploma and diploma ( two years)
Canadian equivalency : Bachelor's degree (four years)

this is Andy's ECA report
and its clearly mentioned secondary school diploma not post secondary school diploma

I will just leave this discussion with this statement again:

"Two or more post-secondary program credentials AND at least one of these credentials is for the completion of a post-secondary program of three years or longer"

This is all that's required for 22 points. You can interpret it however you want to. I am convinced I am right.

Andy's ECA says the highlighted part i.e."secondary school diploma and diploma ( two years)" . If you go to the table and look for the highlighted part, you will see that this is equivalent to a 2 year post-secondary diploma.
So, a bachelor's degree + a 2 year post-secondary diploma = 22 points

Hope it's clear now. It is not a common case, but CIC clearly has a quideline for cases like this.

Ok Following are a rough make over of my job duties .......plz help, your suggestion is vitally required .....
The main responsibility is to check the fraudulent practices in sale and purchase of goods
like under billing, and sometimes they do not issue any bills on the purchase...
so we
have to do the scrutiny of their files/vat returns,
have to check their business premises if we got some information etc.
have to do assessment
have to do mobile checking/on road checking of transport vehicles for proper billing
have to check inter-state and international sales and purchases
have to do recovery of any pending tax demand (by sending them notice)
checking of various forms used in inter-state and international sale and purchase like C-form, H-form, E-form
have to keep a check on the dealers for their yearly turnover and if it crosses the slab then we have to issue them a vat no. which they should mention on their every bill........
thanks

Only one degree needs to be 3 years or longer not both. So this will qualify for 22 points.

Namaste,

You are right. 22 points. My mistake. thanks for pointing out...:)
