I have another question.
I was not able toget reference letters from my employess with job duties as its against there policy. So i have asked my colleagues to write it for me along with there business cards. I did not create a affidavite but have notarized them. Along with it o have seny offer letters ,promotion letters ,salary slips etc.

Will this be accepted ? What i read in the forum is to get a affidavite, which i have not done.

Anyone who can guide me please

I am returning applicant of last year NOC 2147. CIC explained due to cap reached they have returned my app back on Dec 2013. But unfortunately my country (Bangladesh) postal service (the worst postal service I believe in the World ) never delivered that. As a result it's lost. I did not get back my+ my spouse's original PCC and original IELTS result cards.

Without these 2 documents should I proceed for apply within 2 days? of I shall wait for next 15 days to process original copy of IELTS and PCC and then submit for NOC 2281. please advise.

Sorry to hear that. I suggest booking IELTS at IDP immediately as British Council is booked for atleast 1st week of June. By this time, also process PCC.

Note that original IELTS is mandatory to supply else application will be rejected.

Dear Forum Members,

Its great to be in this page. Even though i have been trying to catch up with the posts, the pages get filled up quite fast. so very hard time managing to read all post.

I am 2131 applicant. Last year i missed the cap by around 3 days, so dont wanna miss this time. My concerns are as below:

1) I am a Civil Engineer with 10 years of full time paid experiences. Out of which 4 years i was in Dubai. My job description was of Estimator (Civil) and accordingly I have experience certificate issued from the company there including many of the civil Engineering jobs. As Civil Engineering can work in multiple filed like Highway, Hydropower, Building, Irrigation etc, is it mandatory to have experience certificate with position as Civil Engineer or Estimator (Civil) is just fine ?

2) This time in the checklist sheet, I noticed for the item 12 (Work Experience) CIC has mentioned :

Important : when submitting your tax information, be sure to black out your social security Insurance number (SIN)to protect this personal information.

Does this mean, we have to include tax clearance certificate? It is not mentioned if it is mandatory. The problem is i think i cannot get the tax clearance certificate.

3) Police Clearance certificate :

I have police clearance certificate issued from Dubai Police with 3 months validity while returning from Dubai and since then I have not entered Dubai. Do i need to have new police certificate ? My last stay was cleared by Dubai Police and since then i have not entered Duabi.

4) Do i need to mention UCI number? If i change some information like employment details in the Generic form, will CIC be able to track the old form and compare with the new ones ?

5) For the bank statement, do i have to show statement for last few months or simply the current balance will do ?

6) What are the chances that some forms may be changed later if i submit application now ?[/color

You and all of your family members who are 18 years of age and older and who are not already permanent residents or Canadian citizens will have to provide:
•a valid police certificate, or
•police clearance, or
•record of no information.

These documents are to be provided for each country other than Canada, in which you have lived for six consecutive months or longer since reaching the age of 18.
If you or your family members were under 18 years of age (16 years of age in certain jurisdictions) for the entire time you lived in a particular country, you do not need to provide a police certificate for that country

Generic application should include principal applicant and his/her dependents. If no dependents, then I would say remove the section of dependents.

I'm still waiting for my WES ECA. I have started to prepare documents in the meantime. This is gonna be a long post as I have couple of questions.


Basic questions:
1) Do we have to check "NO" for questions that are not applicable or keep them unchecked? e.g.
Have you received your CSQ? Ans:check NO
In travel doc, "Your spouse or comman-law partner", Although I'm single, so should I still check "did not travel" or keep it unchecked? Write Not ApplicableDid you employer obtained an LMO? (But I'm not claiming offer of employment) Check NO
2) I had previously applied for student visa about 2 years ago, which got refused. So, do I have to fill UCI from that case or keep it blank? Write UCI

We need to write names for all family members in native language? Does these native language names come on different sheet (as in take additional printout to fill only native language names) or it needs to filled on the same sheet & somehow fit it with English names, like <ENGLISH_NAME> <NATIVE_NAME>?

Documents related questions:
1) For proof of funds, will a joint bank account with my parents (if mine is not the first name in the account holder list) considered for POF or the account needs to be only under my name? the account needs to be only under your name
2) Will offer letter & work experience letter be sufficient? I will not be able to provide any pay slip, first job paid in cash, while second job sometimes paid though PayPal (& other payment gateways) & sometimes through bank. Also, I used to spend some of the money from that earnings, before I would withdraw to my bank account. So, my bank PayPal/Bank statement might not match with my salary claim as per the offer/contract letter. Will do and try to include salary in the experience letter

3) Which exact documents needs to be notarized (apart from the translated ones)? It is optional

How about writing my name in my native language script? After filling the entire form and printing it, can I handwrite this ?

Dear Century.. I shall not seat for the exam. I will request IDP for issuing another original copy of IELTS result sheet by paying service fees. because my test result is still valid. Do you have any idea how long time they take to issue a second copy of IELTS?

If you are single, remove dependents.

Hi everyone! I am really worried about my WES application, my documents was delivered to WES last May 6, 2014 but until now may status is waiting for required documents. I emailed the, yesterday and they said that they haven't received any documents from me yet. How can that be when my tacking number shows that they already receive my docs. I gave them my tracking # but until now havent heard back from them yet. It is not easy to get another copy of my credentials from school because it will take another 1 week for the school to release the papers plus another 1 week for the mailing. This is really getting me worried. Please help.
