While I will be going to Far East in a few weeks and can go to the police department in Hong Kong to apply for the clearance in person. However, what should I letter post to the London visa office? The Hong Kong police will NOT issue me a certificate.

Provide HK Police with CIC request for PCC. They will know what to do.

NOC: 2173
MR rcvd: September 1st.
Medicals done: September 4th
Medicals received: September 16th

Hi Seniors,

I'm 28th May application. After a long wait.

Today we got sms from our bank saying ur Trxn at CITIZENSHIP & IMM FS on Sep 16th was declined as you exceeded international usage limit on ur Cr .Card.

After that i Checked in Bank and understood 50K was only set limit by default for the international transaction though credit limit is 3Lakhs . Now its changed, the international transaction limit to 1.5 Lakhs.

Bit worried about this incident. Pl advise what should be our next action ? Is there possibility for second swiping from Immigration dept.

Today cic charged my crédit card.. But It was denied by the bank....

I already call the bank and fix the problem..but......

Will cic charge my card again? When? Someone with the same problem?

CIC will make 3 attempts for CC charging...make sure this time ur international limit is increased....which bank CC have u used??

Remember that LVO cover a lot note countries than some VO's do it will take more time

the thinking kills me as i want how LVO works

Mine is 18th June app, worried after hearing all news of DD and CC failure......I've paid the fee, 1250 CAD, by splitting it into DD and CC. 550 CAD with CC and 550+150=700 CAD with DD....that should not be a worry right???? Anyone who had opted for such thing and have been successful please post...I will be less with 1 worry!!....

I have a question on UK PCC.

I am living n USA and I stayed in UK for about 8 months, SO i need UK PCC.

I am confused about the payment policy, no bank or agency in USA giving bankers draft, or money order in the form of Pounds, so how do I pay them?
Did anyone faced similar situation?

- Pop into Thomas Cook and any travel agency with forex in it. They will do it for you. OR
- You can contact your UK friends and ask them to pay on your behalf. You can pay them later with western union or so.

It MIGHT be caused by differences in MI for 2013 and 2014 program, specifically regarding BG checks, which can take a LOT of time, especially when an applicant comes from a country that is determined HIGH-RISK immigration-wise (such as Pakistan that falls under the jurisdiction of LVO). These cases are likely processed by a designated task force, while most of the human resources are allocoted to the 2014 program.

My designation in the company is Senior Software Engineer. But the duties that I performed falls under NOC 2172 Database analyst. I understand duties are assessed verify if applicant's NOC is right or wrong.

But on statcan website
It is clearly specified for NOC 20172 under Exclusion(s) that "Software engineers and designers (2173)" is excluded and my designation is listed under NOC 2173.

I need to clarify if I should be worried about this or if it's totally fine?

Please help.

This is my first post here. I have been a silent reader of this forum since FSW 2013 before this thread was created. (Please check the SS before saying update your details) I have a small query, my file reached CIO Sydney on 22 May 2014. My card was charged on 10 Sep and got PER on 12th Sept.

My questions are:

1. I am planning to change my job soon and my PER mail says I must notify them of employment changes. However , I dont know how I should notify them and unsure if this will affect my application.
2. I have the 1st line updated on ECAS, any pointers on when the 2nd line will appear? Is it hen the file will be transferred to the VO or is it after it reaches VO and they start processing it?

Forget about the job title, please concentrate on the job duties. If you're unsure, you may inbox me your job duties, maybe I would be of some help since I applied under the same NOC (2172).
