Dont know but its really frustating,How can cic be so slow in reviewing applications!I mean still May is going,and lot of people still not charged.I applied in july last week around 21st,looks its going to take ages for them to review.
My main worry is tht i am scared that my application might get rejected coz i filled in payment form incorrect,as on the blank of payee i wrote my name,whearas it was made from my mother account.It was a DD ofcourse,rest all was correct.
Second i put the self address lable in envelope of photograph,dont know whether this xan be a problem for those guys...coz i think i forgot to mention on envelope photos n self address
Do u guys think this could be reason of rejection,or it just ur destiny which is gonna play role,coz i have observed many people doing blunder yet thy geting through!!!!

If you applied in July, you can be rest assured that your application is still awaiting evaluation.

If you feel that you made an error in the payment forms, you may consider sending the correct payment form to CIC again. For detailed instructions regarding this, you may refer to posts from Oscar7 , which detail his case of adding additional documents to his application. ( Though Oscar7 sent something else but his case can be used as a ready reckoner )

If medical exam result is OK, does this mean I can get a immigration visa 100%?
Or will there be any chance to be rejected after medical exam pass?

The main and most reliable source of Information of all important details is the CIC website itself.. As you know about the start date of application was May 2014... About eligibility criteria, Fund requirements, Where to send application, CAP quota etc etc etc etc etc etc etc ...similarly this information is also posted there.. No one is guessing the date or anything...

Hi Seniors,

I'm 28th May application. After a long wait.

Today we got sms from our bank saying ur Trxn at CITIZENSHIP & IMM FS on Sep 16th was declined as you exceeded international usage limit on ur Cr .Card.

After that i Checked in Bank and understood 50K was only set limit by default for the international transaction though credit limit is 3Lakhs . Now its changed, the international transaction limit to 1.5 Lakhs.

Bit worried about this incident. Pl advise what should be our next action ? Is there possibility for second swiping from Immigration dept.

I wonder if any seniors can shed some light on the following:

1. CIC forwarded my application to London instead of Hong Kong for further processing. From the CIC website, the processing time is 27 months in London versus 8 months in Hong Kong. Does it mean that it would take more than 2 years after the medical request before the process is completed?

2. I was asked to submit an original police clearance from Hong Kong. However, the Hong Kong Police would not issue the certificate to individuals, instead, they are sent to the consulate in Hong Kong (in general) directly. I am not sure if they would mail it to the Canadian Consulate to London. What should I do with this?

3. Can I complete my medical check in Hong Kong, Taiwan, or Korea instead of in areas covered by the London office?

They will make THREE attempts of charging your card before returning the application package. So, you are perfectly same now that you have addressed this issue with your bank. Don't expect the second charging attempt to take place tomorrow, it might take a while, like a couple of days or a week, but they WILL bring forward your file and charge again. So, relax.

Today cic charged my crédit card.. But It was denied by the bank....

I already call the bank and fix the problem..but......

Will cic charge my card again? When? Someone with the same problem?

I am a May 28th Applicant under NOC 2174. Still there is no CC charge. Should I mail CIC as 30th May applicants under the same NOC have got already?
