What is the date on ur DD. I issued mine from ICICI Bank Mumbai on 21 May and it has no validity stamp

no validity stamp means 6 months.

hi guys, someone who has sent the application can answer it best:

what all documents need to be:
1. Notarized copies? (apart from translations)
2. Self attested or attested

I have gone through the document checklist and I have found none of my documents listed as true copies or attested or anything. I am just thinking if ihave missed anything?

Copy of affidavit is fine...Copies of 10th and 12th are necessary though.

I would suggest , send original affidavit ASAP still you have few days .. (That goes without saying ) Attach cover letter and all possible info about yourself so that they can locate your file .


They demand for original affidavit as far as I know. If any member crossed initial stage with photocopies in similar situation please educate us.

Hi all,

Help, I'm having chest pain bc I think I majorly screwed up . I am a United States citizen, living and applying from the United States. I put NEW YORK down as my processing office on the application. I am looking at the CIC website now, and I think I should have put down OTTAWA instead. ARGH! Does anyone know what office US citizens outside of Canada are supposed to use?

I got my PER today...so I'm not sure what to do now if I did indeed put down the wrong office.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You will be fine. CIC officers will redirect your application to Ottawa. See a similar case in the spreadsheet.

What about your PCC?
1. I received PER on Aug 29, i am a 14th May applicant, should i expect CIC to ask PCC from me in Nov 2014?
2. Does CIC provide 30 days of time to give them PCC? :-\
3.Do they also request Medicals at the same time? :'( :'(

I have already submitted PCC with my initial application. Got it for me and my wife in 2 hrs flat from Mumbai PSK. (Passport offshoot office)
You can start formality for PCC now as validity is for a year, though they will provide time later.
You may receive MR probably by end of October.

Seniors, Posting it once again...

I realized that in background declaration, I dint mentioned the address of a hotel where I stayed for two weeks in USA while i was on B1 Visa. In travel details i mentioned about 2 weeks trip to USA.

I mentioned a address where I stayed on worker visa (for second time) duration was more than 6 months.

Please let me know whether that two weeks stay in a hotel which I dint declared will create a problem?

You have already been answered before. Anyways, that will not be an issue. YOu should only mention addresses where you held residence. Temporary stays during visitations are not required.

From your post I understand you've already communicated with WES to have your assessment package upgraded to FSWP. Correct me, if wrong.

If so, then you just need to inform CIC about this. Did they provide you any option on how to revert to them? If not, then email them this information.

Yes, this is a "known issue" if you do not choose the FSWP package in the first place.

No, this wouldn't result in rejection of your application since you've already taken steps to rectify the mistake. Now you just need to focus on intimating CIC about the change.

no response from WES yet , so i found the option for FSWP on WES site. i have ordered it, probably this will take action quick....paid more 80$

What does this WES report mean?

Canadian Equivalency : Bachelor's Degree from a non-recognized institute.

Is one not eligible for any CIC points if the Uni is not recognized at per WES?
