i travelled 2-3 Australia and germany , stay was only for 1 month . Do i need to send them my visa copies ?or entry stamps along with my application ?

Shoot an e- mail to CIC with your full name , NOC, DOB, application filed date. expect a reply after 20 working days or so...

They'll put you on hold for about 6 - 20 minutes.

People who were able to check their status even without receiving PER are ppl who already got their UCI number from previous year application. Few received few had simply got the filed returned !

dont worry..they are not done with apps yet..so you just have to wait for few more days i suppose..and u can contact cic through their email..ut i will suggest to wait because there are few people with same problem as yours.. to sum up..you are in safe zone ..will hear good news shortly..and u can hit the panic button after 2 weeks..

I know that there has been some discussions related to sending additional documents and Oscar has detailed on how it has to be sent. But is it really true that on receipt of these additional documents, CIC will push the application back in the queue to the date when the additional documents were sent?Huh

I am 5th June applicant who lost his credit card on Aug 3rd and sent additional document [Fee Payment form] with new credit card details which was received at CIC on Aug 19th. However I dont think I identified my application with enough details when I sent the additional details [Dint mention additional documents on envelope/provided just name of primary:secondary applicant and document receipt date at CIC in the covering letter].

With the processing of 5th June applications nearing, I am frightened for my application. Do you guys feel that I should send the fee payment form again with proper identification and without fearing the application being pushed back in the queue? My NOC is 2173 and I cannot risk the application being pushed to so late back in the queue. Would really appreciate your 2 cents on this one.

Hi, I have sent my application on June 4th. I have also sent additional documents on 29 August. Further to that I have sent mail and fax. But still now no response from them. I'm also afraid whether my package will be back dated. U better try to send fax by giving all ur details, way bill no, application received date etc. Best wishes.

1. The Push-back theory has proven to be wrong again and again. So don't worry on this.

2. If you send to many documents again and again, it may cause disturbance. If I were you, I won't say a new additional document again. As long as you provided cover letter, it should be fine.

I called BofA and confirmed. They said that this transaction has been approved.

Thank God and thanks to the experts on this forum that my amount got deducted even though the original CC was blocked. Payment has been charged against my new CC.

Being a 28 May applicant, I was not expecting any action before next week but thankfully got the good news today!!!! HAPPY WEEKEND..PARTY TIME!!

Hello Seniors!!

My consultant has asked me to provide copies of all pages of passport while the checklist states only the frst and last and any containing amendments. Please clarify if all pages are reqd?

I had given a list of professional and student bodies that I was a part of but they have not included this information in the form at all. Please confirm if this information HAS to be mentioned? I am confused as to why he has not included it.

I got married in April 2011 post which I flew back to UK where i was working at that time. My travel history therefre states 4/2011 to 9/2011 living in the UK but my marriage certi states i got married in mumbai. Which is true, but could cause confusion with the CIC as the travel history form does not mention dates, just the months in which we are out of our home country. Please confirm if a cover letter is reqd?

Does the DD need to mention CAD? It wil be drawn in the by ICICI for the Bank of Montral, the sample they have given me shows only dollars and not Cad. Will this cause a problem?

Secondly, my wife has drawn the DD from our joint account ie she filled the dd form in the bank.
In the payment form where it states name of payer if different from principal applicant, should I write my wife's name?

Hi everyone,
I've been analyzing NOC caps estimates a lot recently, and, specifically, how many applications are added to the spreadsheet much later than they're received by CIC.
Here's the result of the analysis:

Let's consider amount of applications that are received today and that will be registered in the spreadsheet in the next 130 days. Let's take this amount as 100% (it's never really 100%, because the apps keep getting added slowly even far away into future, but for the purpose of this explanation it's fine).
Then, half of those applications will be added to the spreadsheet by the applicants within the first 6 days after they're received by CIC,
about 80% will be added within 45 days,
95% will be added within 100 days.
10% of applications are added more than about 4 days before they're received.

For people who are interested in the details/formulas used in the analysis, the exact calculations can be found here (nothing special, just numbers):

This led me to a thought that the current NOC cap estimates still did not account for this effect completely, so I've updated the estimates to reflect that, to be on the safer side. Now the pessimistic estimate is that for applications received at CIC today, caps for hot NOCs (1112, 2132, 2171, 2173, 2174) are either full already or pretty close to being full.
Realistic estimate still leaves some more time for all NOCs except for NOC 2174. But again, it's still an estimate and there are many variables that affect it.


The same analysis has been applied really well to the charge date estimates - I hope, now the charge date estimates will drift much less over time

OMG. You had access to my desktop ! Joking...I fully appreciate the new Pessimistic definition. The is the worst case scenario, as you have taken 100%. Maybe the realistic estimate can be reworked also like this..assuming not 100% but based on trend in SS of application filing.
