Hello Friends,

I am happy to share the information that I have received the MR/PCC/RPRF request today from NDVO. I have updated the SS. Thank you all for your great help and suggestions during the process.

But now I am in a bit of difficult situation and if any member is/was in similar situation, please advise :

Recently I came to USA and currently on H1B, Now do I need to request VO to transfer my file to CPC-O since my stay in US is more than year and I Would not be able to send my Passport to New Delhi VO when needed?

Since NDVO has given me 45 days from today and they respond to enquiry in 28 days, Is there any quick way to communicate with them and discuss the situation?

Can't you come to NDVO to do your MR.... I mean they are not asking for passport at the moment.

Secondly it is not mandatory that person who live more than 1 yr out has to move his/her VO to the country of Domicile

good luck bro. i would suggest u visit police station personally and :
1. take ur references along (with their address proofs)
2. ur own address proof + passport
3. ur marriage certificate copy + ur wife's address proof (if u are married) --- policeman didn't ask me initially for this, which caused my verification report to be sent back to the thana from SSP office and delayed my pcc

No they did not. however, i know what all stages will now PCC request will go through:
1. PSK to SP Office
2. SP Office to Police station that falls under my area
Verification will be done
3. Police station to SP Office
4. SP Office to PSK
5. PSK --> Email notification
6. Then i will go t here again to get the PCC.

I think this process will at least take 30 days if done without any approach / bribe

don't be dejected, coz this is exactly the process in most states, I believe Delhi is an exception, where you get PCC, in a day if Permanent Address is same as address in PP.

I got PCC in Bangalore, and we had to follow the exact same steps accept that we didn't go through PSK. And you get updates via SMS on your phone, giving you details of each stage of PCC and its status. This can be checked online as well in the Karnataka Sakala website.

Oh yeah, and we got our PCC in just 2 weeks I suggest google the procedure for your state.

And I guess I've still got quiet a bit of time to go before my CC gets charged but I'd like to know if there's any kind of forecast, when should I expect my CC to be charged?

My passport was issued in 2006 and yet PSK at ITO Delhi issued me a PCC the same day.... within a few hours actually. I guess the PSK rules keep on changing from one state to another.

"6 months" rule is written clearly on PSK website. i guess my RPO follows it strictly

Hi Dear,

I had a prompt & positive experience for my PCC application from Thane.(Next to Mumbai)

The procedure was same, but appreciate the SP office team & Local police who made this entire procedure completed in 4 working days time. Nobody asked for a single rupee for getting PCC. It happens only in India...!!

The only thing the SP office & Local police Dy. SP asked was a written request for urgency of PCC.

I can see that none of the 16th May applicant with DD has been charged as per the sheet.
Any 16th May DD applicant who got a confirmation for DD encashment from bank ?

Sorry but your apps. will high probably fails the completeness check stage and the whole package may even be on its way back!
Start preparing the missed docs., perform another thorough review of the complete file and resubmit your application as soon at it is returned to you! There is no risk, your new Apps. will "for sure" won't be considered under Cap.

Please, gather again all documents listed in CIC Checklist and use this top10 of the Qc check-list to guide your :
1 - Application received within the CAP or not
2 - Forms filled were updated or not specially "Schedule 3"; "Checklist" & "Generic Form" etc
3 - Forms were completed or not
4 - Names in local language were written after printout or not
5 - Forget to write N/A in a blank fields
6 - Credit Card issue from issuing Bank
7 - Signed the forms at the end or Not
8 - Picture size was acceptable or not
9- Stapled the forms
10 - Document translation was sent or not
Also, do not forget to fill your UCI in the Generic form, if it is mentionned within the accompanying rejection letter or the returned Generic form.

thanks thats why i was asking how to inquire for the same from CIC as few pages back some one 26th may applicant mailed cic for his status and came to knw about his rejections. so i want to know the email address for cic where i can inquire... as my ielts is going to expire in October so i have to appear from ielts again. although i have attached 1 exp. certf. including my JD in detail that was for 1.5 years exp. in NOC 4011, but from current employer i got simple exp. cert. showing duration of work, i also attached my appointmment letters, salary statement, Form no 16, ITR, I. card, self declaration affidavit....... rest all other things. so please let me know the email add.
