I dont feel confident enough to comment on the caps.
But one comment I would like to make here - if you are thinking of applying later with Express Entry, I believe it will be a prudent step to be ready before it opens up. You can give this a thought!

Everything is booked till 18th october. And my NOC is 2173/2174 both are really hot.

Thinking of giving up the thought of applying this year since it seems hopeless to apply after 18th october for these NOCs

Anyways. Have got the correct tracking no. for DHL from the consultant and now tracking shows docs recd at Sydney (correct address) on 2nd Sept. 2014 at 14.24. Docs have been recd by DAN. Checked with DHL also and they have confirmed the details along with NOC which is correct this time.

Will update ss by evening. Finally some peace of mind.

Yes I am thinking to get the application ready...just in case. Atleast having the ECA and IELTS ready because they are the steps which take longest I believe.

Keep checking for cancellations every 30 minutes (even at odd hours if you are near a net connection) - put that on your priority

Yea..I just called Fedex now and they confirmed that they do have direct service in the specified pincode in Nova Scotia

No. Its not mandatory. and yes, its always good to mention the reason in a cover letter

In that stage, you can do nothing except waiting. in few weeks you will either get you CC/DD charged and then you are in the safe side. Else you will get the application back and CIC will tell you what is wrong with your application in a rejection letter.

ravel might be tense wondering how people know of the PER as he/she himself/herself doesnt know about it.
