1) ICAS report says: Comparable level in Canada: Bachelors Degree (4 years)--------->I believe 21 points.
2) IELTS-General: L 8.5, R 9.0, W 7.0 and S 7.5 ------------> I believe 24 points.

need opinion on my reference letters, Im applying under the banking and finance profesionals NOC and I also have experience in retail. I will be getting retail store manager/owner to endorse my reference letter however they do not have a website of his own and use a gmail account. Now this store is a leading apparel store in the city and has over 20 staff employed. Would it be an issue if I dont provide store owners email address ?

Now my current job in banking and finance institute, I will be getting reference letters from senior manager and my co worker. But email is again an issue here as company doesn't allow emails from other email domains other than company itself and few other domains including government.

Please advise if I should explain this in a letter to CIC. I'm worried they might send email to my manager and it will bounce back which might make them feel its an incorrec email address.

Congrats on the cc charge.. Just had a basic query.. How do check the ECAS status... I had applied for fsw 2013 and could not make it as the cap had reached.. How did you get your UCI number?

Last year you were no t able to make it in the cap
so currently you dnt have UCI

It will be provided by CIC email communication.

Dear Oscar7,

I wanted to ask you this from last night...

I want to send my wife IELTS to CIC in order to bump up my score by 5 points.

I am worried sick that CIC might not give me max points on work experience.

I was not able to send her IELTS at the beginning as she only had
chance to take exam 1 month after I had send our application.

Now I am realizing this, I should tried have to send it separately earlier
however was scared the received date would be pushed back and not be in cap)

What can I do to submit my wife IELTS this CIC at this stage of my app?

It should contain either of your parent name. If you are from India,it should be carrying your father's name.

Hi,
Actually i also sent documents through DHL on 26th August. My documents reached Ontario in 3 days but then it was long weekend in canada so my document status was "forwarded for delivery" for few days. I got worried when it remained the same even after the weekend! I spoke with local DHL and then Canadian DHL office, who gave me tracking no. for Loomia express (their 3rd party). It showed that the package was delivered on 2nd and signed by "Dan" at CIC (Although DHL had not updated on their website).

Next day, i checked DHL website and it shows that my documents have been delivered but they don't show who received it and in proof of delivery option, there is no signature or address!! only mentions "nova scotia, canada"

Now i can see these details in loomia express website but how can i confirm that it is my package? Because as per their details, DHL is their client. My name is nowhere mentioned on Loomia website. Anyways, DHL confirmed to me on phone many times that it is my package and can we close this complaint? I am not letting them close this complaint unless i get concrete proof that my documents were delivered.

I spoke to DHL Canada as well and I was told that it was forwarded to a company called Net Parcels. They provided the order ID but there is no way of tracking the package on their site.

Its just lame that a package can cross continents in 3 days and then take more than 3 days to reach NS from Ontario. Worst part is that DHL itself has no update on package delivery. At first we were told that it will be delivered on 4th and when there was no change in status on 4th we were told that system takes 24 hrs to update the status. When nothing changed even the following day they said we have launched an inquiry which would take another 48 hrs. And now they say that there is no way of getting an update on weekend so wait till 8th.

I just hope that they at least deliver it properly since my NOC is a cold one. There was so much hard work involved in getting that package ready and it has several originals. God forbid but if they have lost my package I will be devastated.

I am from NDVO and got MR mail from cic but not the AOR mail.
It be superhit if you can share contents and email from which it comes and please delete/hide the unique data points that can reveal your identity.

DHL did something similar with my package and I had to escalate the issue to get an update. I'd advise ppl to use Fedex its more reliable

1. Yes, you will have one year visa validity.
2. She only has to enter once and can return after getting PR. It may take around 20-day to get it. So, I don't think it will be hard to mange 20-day for her within 1-year to travel Canada.
3. If you don't want her to be accompanied right now, it will take long long time for sponsor.
4. So suggest to include her in the application.

Dear All,
A small help regarding my work experience:

I have 1 year experience with TCS - 2007-08

I have 4.5 year experience with Deloitte - 2010-14

Deloitte has provided me an experience letter on their letter head mentioning my designations held and period, joining date, role and working hours per week. I will share my Offer letter, pay slips, certifications (which align to NOC) with it. Is that enough? How do I ensure that they are able to match NOC to my job duties?

For TCS I am sharing only Offer Letter and Release Letter. I dont have any current reference letter or any other document. Do I need anything else.
