Thanks for the awesome SS .... I dont deny the awesome work you do .... and +1 for that ... .... But you gotta accept that the charge date is a function of how CIC is processing applications and will keep on changing as and when CIC picks up or drops pace and as we move nearer to the application received date. 2 weeks back the first charge date was 15 Jan 2015 for 18th July applicants. now the first charge is somewhere in 3rd week of december.... in my optimistic view my application (18th July) will be charged in October and in my most pessimistic view, mid November ... I am glad the SS is flexible to take that into account and adjust for the same but what was predicted by the charge date a while ago aint true any more .... If you can discuss the exact parameters used for charge date estimates, I could give my 2 cents to maybe take into account other factors to improve predictability .... I am pretty decent with excel .....

Hi Friends,

Sorry to disturb you guys. Please don't get irritated because of my messages. I am 14 may applicant and my bank has confirmed
DD was cleared though they haven't give me detail of date when it was cleared.

I am still waiting for PER. My self calculated point was 67. I have calculated my age as 35 .
I was completed 35 yrs this 30 June and running 36. So bit worried how they might calculate the age point now.

Since payment is cleared, it is making me too worry regarding PER.
Please guys, share your views on this. Thanks

Lol...If someone can touch base with him, kindly ask to put in a word for me too??

7th May applicants had not even recovered fully from the ordeal of waiting for PER and now MR anticipation has started to keep the head occupied.

CIC should understand that persistant tension might not be good for Medical results :P :P

Just wait and watch your PER coming in your inbox bro!

Thanks but it is saying $490 for both PA and spouse which means it should not be 2 x 490. Am I right ?

Bro,

Where it has mentioned as "both PA and spouse" ?

I cant see that...:)

Try to proceed with the provided link....

U will have to give as "TWO" on the field "Number of Applications"....:)

Also it is stated on the guide clearly... ;)

CIC Guide says:

2. The Right of Permanent Residence Fee, which will be requested by the Visa Office at a later stage if your application is approved.

Right of Permanent Residence Fee Number of persons Amount per person Amount Due
Principal applicant 1 x $490 $ 490
Spouse or common-law partner x $490

i am on h1-b visa in usa and i received my PER today

i am in US right now and i want to get the PCC from india for me and my wife.
how to get the PCC from india if a person is staying in USA?

what are my options ?
a. from indian embassy in new york
b. from india itself since my parents are there.

please let me knw which of the 2 options are acceptable by the CIC ??

So happy to report - my CC got charged mins ago.

App received - May 22nd and NOC 2171 ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Thanks Ashif Bhai,

If it's written clearly in CIC guide, then I am clear.

Actually, the table on fee link is showing application fee of $550 separately in 2 rows for PA and spouse. But RPRF is shown only one time. Thats why I was confused.

Permanent Residence Applications*
Skilled Worker, Provincial Nominee, Family Class CAN$ INR
Principal Applicant 550 30,000
Spouse/Partner 550 30,000
Dependant 22 yrs and over 550 30,000
Dependant under 22 yrs 150 8,200

Right of Permanent Resident Fee (Principal Applicant, Spouse/ Partner) 490 26,700

CC just charged 5 min ago. 22 May applicant.

Good luck to everybody!

Which CC did you use? Indian or Canadian? If Indian, then which bank and did you tell your bank that your card will be charged so much amount in the future?

I am contemplating if I should give my Indian (HDFC bank) or US (Bank of america) card. Any suggestions?

Congrats buddy ! :)
