One info to all: NDVO has asked for MR of all in the application which includes my 5 months old SON as well
First of all congrats....Bains87 said:Hello to all Seniors,
This is my first post here in this forum , we have applied under FSW and CC was charged on 30th July , received PER on 25 August.
Now there is one issue over here , my wife has a name correction in her passport, she being the primary applicant since according to FSW I don't have the required skills :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[
We got the application number from CIC via email but they did not notice the name correction in the next page and sent the Application file number with the wrong first name.
Now I am confused as to how to approach this issue , when we filled the forms we used the corrected name and now the Application received by CIC has the wrong first name (just one alphabet mistake).
My consultant says there is nothing to worry about and according to him this can be managed when the medical call comes.
CONGRATS ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;Dk_b said:One info to all: NDVO has asked for MR of all in the application which includes my 5 months old SON as well

NDVO giving competition to Ottawa office nice Delhi good signs and best wishes dear k_b
ok noted sir! hope they keep up to it, does the NOC of applicant matter (from top 50) regarding its processing times and all??spicysank said:NDVO has issued Visas in record time earlier specially in year 2012. I know a few people who got their visas in 6 months. And 8 months in 2011 & 2013.
Hope they stick to their 8 months average
I myself have chosen both as I have my education and job both in French language.... it would have looked weird if I had chosen only English in language column. Besides, documents are required only if we are willing to obtain points for that language..... I don't see any harm in letting them know we are comfortable with both the languages even if we are not appearing for TEF exam.anarki said:oh cool..and I see you are applying as a translator. Thats good. I might get in touch with you and practice some speaking if I plan to take TEF in November.
or let me ask you this - can you train me to take DALF-C1 ??
anyway..one more question..while filling up the FSW forms..in the language section..there was a choice which says what language do you speak. English or French or Both ?? I wanted to select Both but then I am not submitting any official document to prove my fluency in French.
Qu'en pensez-vous ? ;D
RP24 said:You are absolutely right, that's what i also keep saying, it could be a very close call for week 4 applicants. I'm a 26th May applicant and that too for the hot NOC 1112. I am sooooooooooooo worried. Last year also i missed due to cap, this year history will repeat itself............ i am soooooo disappointed.
I know others have said that till June applications, cap should not be a worry, but it doesn't seem right if you do the maths.
Seniors pls comment. I was of the understanding that total number of applications started to decrease after May 15, then how come CC/DD charges have not already happened for May 22 or 23 applicants.

Nopes. The NOC of the applicant does not matter for processing times.maym99 said:ok noted sir! hope they keep up to it, does the NOC of applicant matter (from top 50) regarding its processing times and all??
