Thanks Century. The problem is I just have 2 months left on my work permit and need to hear from CIC before my work permit expires. Do you think I'll hear from them within 2 months? The earlier application I submitted was for FSW - Arranged employment category - which I submitted on 4th April 2014, and got email of rejection (I Didn't have proper work permit) on 28th April 2014, which was really quick - just 24 days...but not sure it'll be same for FSW for NOC category as well. Still keeping my fingers crossed!!

If your application is accepted, your credit card/DD will be charged - hopefully within 2 month. Keep track on the spreadsheet - if someone, who applied in same day with, credit card is being charged, you can expect, your one also will be charged within 2 days. Best of luck, mate.

I know this question is asked million times, but I just wanted to confirm it before I send my application

What should I write in Schedule 3: 12a

Occupation NOC

Supervisors, Finance and Insurance Clerks 1212

OR
Bookkeeping Supervisor 1212

Please treat this as urgent. Thanks

Thanks again. But the funny thing is they charged by credit card last time 1 day before they rejected my application. So it's not a pointer to if the application will get accepted or not. But still...Fingers crossed now!!

Isn't it only the Settlement Funds that you are required to show evidence for? Do you have to show proof of the other assets and liabilities that you would have filled in at a and b?

It's only settlement funds!

Dear friends,
Need some insight on this :

I've 3 years of experience in NOC 5241 (Which is not in the eligible occupations)
and 3 years in NOC 2174
Can i claim points for NOC 5241? What would be my work experience points then?

Anyone on this ?
Please reply...

Guys it will take some time before I get my police clearance certificate. As they accept submission of PCC at later stage,If I send my application without Police clearance certificate do I need to write a cover letter??

Please comment

Hi, I told +ve comment about DHL b4, w/o seeing complete result.
Overall, I feel Fedex is best as I used b4 and seen results. Fedex is better than dHL.

It's only advisable but not mandatory.
Please write a cover letter to explain that the pcc isn't ready for now....that's it's under processing and that it will be available on request at later stage.
Please date and sign the cover letter.

I'm not sure he meant his CC that was charged before been rejected.
I'm sure an applicant who share similar timeline of submission and NOC was been referred to.
I'm sure he will explain his statement better to see what actually went wrong.

Thanks Kollins. Would it be possible to provide a general template for writing cover letter for a missing document? Whom to address? How to start?

Justification is required for those docs. Which Are asked to submit and you are not submitting.
So i don't think any Justification to required give.

Yes, I meant exactly what I said. I actually applied under FSW arranged employment category as I'm currently working in Canada. My application reached CIC on 4th April and my CC was charged on 25th April. And I got rejection email on April 28th (It got rejected as I didn't have LMO which is mandatory. I have post grad work permit which isn't valid for this). It says that the fees charged will be returned within 16-20 weeks.

You got 6 years of experience and you got 15 points. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D. According to CIC "In order to receive points for all of the jobs you have had over the past ten years, your work experience must be in one or more occupations listed in Skill Type 0, Skill Level A or B of NOC 2011".

Now, did you get 67 points? ;) ;)
