My consultant (Abhinav) today informed me that CIC is no longer accepting applications without birth certificate ie only with affidavits or marksheets or pass certificate.

This is going to delay my application further :-(.. Hope this is not some rumour and I hope what they say is genuine. I am proceeding to arrange my certificate but not sure if I will get it. If I don't get it, what should I do?

What?? Is this info correct??or just a plain rumor..dont scare me brother.. Please confirm such news and tell

How will the place in Canada,, that I choose will effect my application? It is better to choose Calgary or Toronto.

Calgary is better than Toronto. Cz Toronto is a crowded and cramped city, but Calgary is not. Choice of city will not effect your application. However many provinces in Canada have provincial nominee program (PNP) for PR. Now if anybody becomes unsuccessful in Federal program, there is a possibility to get nomination for PNP if he/she qualifies the PNP.

I'm in Canada also and my app was received 26th May and I have yet to hear anything, you might be waiting till November or December

I applied for the PhD stream. My friend applied for the same class (PhD stream) on April 26th, 2014. He received his file number 3 weeks after that.
Do you mean now it takes longer for the people who applied after May 2014?

Congrats all the 16th May CC Charged guys and all those who have been receiving the PER. Im May 12th Applicant, who is still waiting for PER and still not sure if my DD is charged. Any idea as to how many May 12th Applicants with NOC 1112 are awaiting PER??

I have been following this forum silently and had applied for NOC 2173.

My app. reached CIC on 27 Aug, 2014. Will update the SS shortly with my details.

Alhamdulillah dear Brothers I have finally Received my PER email at 12.12 AM local time in Bangladesh. Thanks to Allah that he finally helped me to pass through the initial hurdle.

Though I have been in the forum every single day but have remained a silent observer as this was my third time application for the Immigration. And now hopefully as I have gone through the first stage I would be regular in contributing to the forum on wards.

I am a May 14th NOC-2133 Applicant, Payment mode DD, Payment En-cashed on 14th August. PER Received on 28th August.

Regarding my application I would like to share the following issues:

Firstly, I did a small mistake in IMM0008 regarding my wife's First name and surname. Have written her First name in the space of Surname and instead of Surname written First name.

Secondly, in IMM5406 Did mistake on my brothers name in local language.

For Job Reference, I have given three visiting cards including mine and two of the higher officials of the company, Given two promotion letters and three payslips of last three months at the time of application. Also given a job reference letter as well.

I have dome small mistakes and think that this year the CIC is more considerable. Guys I am very much thankful to all of you and specially thanks seniors for their effort on helping others. Even my self I have PM'ed Asif_eee vai many times as well.

When I was in India (on vacation for 1 month) I applied for PCC at Passport Seva kendra on 5-8-2014 and I got SMS that my PCC is clear and I can collect from Passport seva kendra on 27-8-2014

But I came back to UAE on 25-8-2014.

1. Does anyone can take my PCC on my behalf
2. My brother who applied also applied for FSW and PCC told me that, they will stamp on Passport that PCC issued for Canada
3. Can I request them to send PCC to Indian embassy in UAE
4. or Shall I go to India may be on 26-9-2014 and collect personally
5. or leaving all this, can i apply for fresh PCC from UAE, but will they check that , on my passport PCC issued but not taken, will the Indian embassy in UAE make problem in issuing PCC again as i previously applied in India.


my spouse who is also in FSW application not applied yet for PCC from anywhere

we are thinking of applying to Indian Embassy in UAE for PCC , but worried about my previous PCC application in India

Hi: When i went to collect the PCC they took my passport and endrosed on it, that they have given an PCC for this specific country. PLease call helpdesk to get details whether you can do without passport or someone else can collect

Thanks to Almighty Allah and all forum members PER received few hours ago... so happpy,,,tears in my eyes,this is like a dream come true for me fee encashed date is 14 august.... now i can sleep comfortably after 4 horrible months... yipppiiieee party time... but still ecas showing nothing... when ecas will updated?? when i will see something on ecas :'(
