I am new to this thread though I have been following it. My docs are complete and I'm in the process of Notarizing them pending receipt of my ECA from WES. I however need a clarification please. I'm not sure what job function to put under noc 1114 which is my preferred option. I work in a bank as a Relationship manager, I don't know if that suffices for Account Manager. Kindly assist.

Designation is not the keep thing with CIC.
The most important thing is that your reference must state that you can perform the lead statement for NOC 1114
and you must also cover at least 70% of the main duties.
Hope this is clear enough please.

yes my DD encashed on 14 august and received PER on 27 august... and iam a 14 may applicant

Thanks for the response ksa0510. However what is unclear is that the duties stated under noc 1114 are limited to 6 job types. What job duties are required from an account manager. Help appreciated from people applying under it.

Alhamdulillah dear Brothers I have finally Received my PER email at 12.12 AM local time in Bangladesh. Thanks to Allah that he finally helped me to pass through the initial hurdle.

Though I have been in the forum every single day but have remained a silent observer as this was my third time application for the Immigration. And now hopefully as I have gone through the first stage I would be regular in contributing to the forum on wards.

I am a May 14th NOC-2133 Applicant, Payment mode DD, Payment En-cashed on 14th August. PER Received on 28th August.

Regarding my application I would like to share the following issues:

Firstly, I did a small mistake in IMM0008 regarding my wife's First name and surname. Have written her First name in the space of Surname and instead of Surname written First name.

Secondly, in IMM5406 Did mistake on my brothers name in local language.

For Job Reference, I have given three visiting cards including mine and two of the higher officials of the company, Given two promotion letters and three payslips of last three months at the time of application. Also given a job reference letter as well.

I have dome small mistakes and think that this year the CIC is more considerable. Guys I am very much thankful to all of you and specially thanks seniors for their effort on helping others. Even my self I have PM'ed Asif_eee vai many times as well.

heartly congrats for our respected forum member, I can understand how hard it was for u to wait 3 years to hear this good news, I was in same boat but with a different scenario, in 2012 I tried to apply for FSWP but quota got filled (my wife being primary applicant for General Practitioner), in 2013 the cic closed medical related NOCs....I changed my self as primary applicant but again cap got filled for 2174 until my docs were ready to be submitted...now in 2014 I successfully submitted and Alhamdulillah waiting for MR request.

i had to sent my new credit card details since the old one which i attached with application got changed.i had mailed them my new cc details. The cic replied me that usually a file for an applicant will be created within 70 to 84 days of receiving date of application .So at that they may update the details.So i hope it means they will open all the applications which are in between these durations.my file was received on june 16 th for noc 2173

Haven't had a chance to look at yesterday's posts and not sure if this was replied to. It is never easy to comprehend how they move packages from one 'production line' (or rather, checking line) to another. So it is mostly speculation based theories that we share here.

That said, both these NOCs are similar enough to have a single 'checker' for both, and that could be the reason for these to process simultaneously since they anyway arrived together at CIC. When two different individuals are involved in checking of applications even for the same date applications, the timeline can vary due to individual's timeline variation for each such individual checker at CIC. This is just my theory, not a precise science with proof. Take it for leave it. And, I am just playing a devil's advocate on your first statement "This kind of proves....."

Some sort of grouping by NOC seems sensible so that it is easy to divide work based on 'occupation types' for checking these documents, but who knows how they run their shop there.

Sounds good then - they said they are working to get that up for you and have asked for a TAT (turn-around-time) of one week. I have advised them to get it done sooner, like by end of week Trust that helps!

Keep your hopes up, CAboom. DD takes a little longer than CC to charge, and you're definitely not out yet. Just give it some more time, and if you can, call the bank that issued the DD from time to time to check if it was cashed. Good luck!

It seems that DDs from India are encashed sooner than those from anywhere else. Why is that?

I am a May 14th applicant who used DD as well and I am starting to worry now.
