Just wanted to know the actions to be taken , as my panel phy did submitted my results to CIC on 29th july,2014 but my ECAS status is still not udpated. I tried to email to cpc-ottawa but not getting nay response from them,

yes its was 21 points in ielts test but they calculated 20 points.i send them ielts test copy,rejection letter and recalculation table through courier....
it reaches cic on 21 aug 14 and today i got email from same cic officer abt PER(disregard earlier email)..

no they didnt return anything(they clealry mention that all documents they will keep in their record and fees also be a part of their process)

now with this PER email i got recipt of payment of 550C$ also.

guys,,

so now i can clairfy to eveyrone who are bit doubtfull abt ielts test points or yet to send application to cic...

you will get points based on ur individual performance in each section of ietls test..

I guess u hav not read all my post on this topic, anyway I also think that most probable way that CIC calculates english score is by adding up scores of all the individual sections but i stated if CIC has not made a mistake in the above mentioned case then for sure a different method may b applied by CIC. So all consultants and experts then wuld b wrong in the way they think CIC calculates english score.

I dont agree at all that it is anywhere stated, in any guide or table, that CIC just adds individual sections score and does not aggregate individual sections to arrive at an overall score and then allocate points.

The table only states points per ability section but has CIC stated that they will just add them up and not use an aggregate score ..i dont think so....all I m saying is if CIC is correct in giving 20 points in amitraj's case then aggregate score is the way they have calculated it.

Did your panel Physician gave any kind of proof for your own record that you already did medical ?? If yes then send to CPC-Ottawa email along with your personal information. Sometimes what happens is due to too much rush they take a month or so to review your medical result. Once they are done reviewing it they will update it on ECAS. They some times usually take a month or so to update ECAS as Medical received.

You will get response in 30-40 days. If you still want to see what's happening in your application order GCMS notes.

Most probably ur security clearence is under process........ if u have worked in more than one country (exluding Canada) ur S.C will take longer.

Congratulations on overall progress of ur app, u r few weeks away from PR.

Thanks Shah, BUt I did work in India and Canada only , not other than that. and if it pending with Police clearance why my ECAS not updated with MEdical has been received status?

Lil bit worries as it si almost a moth , while I saw other getting status updated immediately.

great news guys...my 2nd applicaiton received in cic,sydney today and i also get email from same CIC officer.that after after subsequent review of my application they find...

Please disregard previous letter sent August 12th 2014


This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada in the Federal Skilled Worker class


"Based on a subsequent review of the information you have provided, your application has received a positive determination of eligibility to be processed"....

byt they didnt admit that they did a blunder mistake in my case.(see it means a human error can cost a career to an individual)i dont how many these types of mistake cic already did this year......

so finally i got PER.....

thanks all of you.who encourage me to send courier to cic with my ielts test copy,rejection letter to show them that they did a big mistake...

You don't have to order physical file if you want to know what's going on with your application as they will send you copy of your application with marking on it made by VO(GCMS notes and physical file are different), and FYI requesting a copy of physical file is as good as requesting electronic file. Doesn't matter which one you choose, it will surely wont delay your process. Btw when did your order it ??

I did ordered it on 19th Aug,2014.

I think it was little bit early to order GCMS within 20-25 days of your medical done. Possibly Panel Physician took almost 7 - 10 days to upload your result and you expect that in another 10-15 days CIC will process your Medical Report. They need atleast 20-25 days to review it and upload it to ECAS.

P.S.: Make another request today or tomorrow, and what will happen is your latest GCMS notes request will override previous request. The reason I am telling you this is because you requested GCMS on 19th Aug, and notes you will receive will be generated on 20th Aug., 2014. That's totally up-to you what you want to do but I though it suggestion might help.

Thanks to Almighty Allah and all forum members PER received few hours ago... so happpy,,,tears in my eyes,this is like a dream come true for me fee encashed date is 14 august.... now i can sleep comfortably after 4 horrible months... yipppiiieee party time... but still ecas showing nothing... when ecas will updated?? when i will see something on ecas :'(

and yes SS updated,,, thumbsup
