Hi,

I am a 7th May Applicant , I haven't received PER mail yet. My online status of application is "in-progress" for more than a month now. What is the reason of not receiving PER? , can I check by calling CIC ?

DOES NOT MATTER. ALL PCC REQUESTS GO TO FBI IN WEST VIRGINIA.

However, I need PCC for my India Stay from Indian consulate in US, will FBI comes into picture here ?

If you haven't saved edit your response link then you have to make fresh entry and after entry dont forget to save edit my response link for future...

I have read on this forum that people are getting requests for medical, PCC and residence fee so does that means that there background and documents verification has already been done and they are just one step behind getting the visa

ONLY IF YOU HAVE RESIDED IN THE US 6 MONTHS OR LONGER SINCE THE AGE OF 18. SOUNDS LIKE YOU ARE CURRENTLY RESIDING IN THE US IN WHICH CASE YOU OF COURSE NEED A PC FROM THE FBI.
