I agree. Documents should not be stapled or clipped. Should be left unbound but in order of checklist. Although stapling, using clips won't affect your application. Point is why to use these when CIC already clearly mentioned in the instructions not to use.w910i said:it is! Check this out:

Check the first part it states there:
Gather all your documents in the order of the checklist,and check each item. Attach small photos and certified cheques with paper clip. otherwise leave documents unbound.
