Dear friends under NOC 1212,
I have applied under NOC on 15the june which reached in CIC on 19th. I want to know when is the expected date for my DD to be encashed so that I can verify it with my bank. I also want to know if the cic is updating just 12 complete application received, what does it mean do they update it after encashing DD or CC or issuing PER or anything else.

Query:

When should I mark my case as "File Transferred" / "Processing Started", is that I will receive another email similar to the PER ? Or there is any other indicator I should expect ?

I got the PER on 7 Aug, how long does it takes to go to the mentioned 2 stages ?

I dont have the perfect answer but would advise seniors to help me out iwth this one .... I guess file transfer should happen before MR and PCC request .... Rest Ashif/century/Oscar7.... please comment

Also I was wondering if working with a US bank will help my application ? I have 3yr NOC1112 and after that i'm working in a managerial post with a big US bank.... Will my most recent work experience play a part in giving an extra positive thrust to my application or is the review more or less objective ?

Put in N/A in liabilities section

I think your very optermistic bearing in mind this weekend is a holiday weekend which will slow the process and as yet CIC have not reached 20th May. I'd suggest that a June app is more likely to be processed in October

Hello Seniors and experts,

Pls respond for the below questions.

--In shedule A back ground declaration form (imm5669)----

1) Under personal history - i have travelled another country on work permit for 5 months. do i need to mention this travel also which is less than 6 mnmonths..?I didn't indicate my travels during this period. I did use an asterick* below to state the following :"Please refer to Supplementary Information – Your travels [IMM 5562] for overseas travel during this period." I find it confusing to indicate every single travel and come back to writing my job status again. I travelled very extensively, hence I don't wish to indicate every single detail. I MAY BE WRONG,so if you want to be on the safe side, just indicate every single travel you have.
2) Under Addresses - same question again pls - do i need to mention the adress where i stayed abroad 5months ? Yes.


----Additional family info form---

1) Do we need to fill in names in native language also along with english? Yes, though it is reported that some of those who did not indicate were not penalized. I did not indicate and so I sent a second document to CIC. Learn from my mistake, print out the form and write your native name in black ink.

Mikeypm, I think you should be noticing that we are almost on the verge of seeing a new date CC charge everyday ..... I am talking about first CC charge for June 18th to happen in the second half of September. CIC pace is picking up due to slowing applications ... Rest, I'm myself a July18th Applicant hoping to be in the NOC1112 cap and getting CC charged by October.

Also if you notice the holiday schedule below:
Mother's Day May 11, Sunday Not a stat holiday
Victoria Day May 19, Monday National
Father's Day June 15, Sunday Not a stat holiday
St. Jean Baptiste Day June 24, Tuesday QC
Aboriginal Day June 21, Saturday NWT
Canada Day July 1, Tuesday National
Civic Holiday August 4, Monday AB, BC, SK, ON, NB, NU
Labour Day September 1, Monday National
Thanksgiving October 13, Monday National except NB, NS, NL

If I am talking about my applications 18th July, This means there were more holiday between 1st May and 18th July than there were/are after 18th July. Hence more working days for CIC post my application relates to quicker processing ... Cheers to any positivity !!!

I'm not saying don't be positive I'm just suggesting being realistic, my app was received 26th May and it's now over three months and I'm no closer to CC charge and PER

Again ... by my positive standards, i feel that if you're slightly earlier in the queue of 26th May applicants, you will get your CCcharged before 6th Sept weekend... How about a +1 if my word comes true or even if one 26th Msy applicant is charged by then???

Got PER email . After I had sent my application my baby was born so how do I notify them about the same and what should I do to include her in this application process only.
Kindly guide.
