Hi All,

I did apply for FSW 2014 under 2281 Category. I received my PER on time. Recently I received medical request and RPRF request from CIC on 21st July,2014. I have done my medical and sent medical receipt(given by Panel Phy.) with RPRF receipt to CISC on 25th July,2014. They received it on 28thJuly,2014. As I did my eMedical , as per confirmation from clinic they have uploaded all the reports to IHS on 29th July,2014.

BUT my ECAS status is still showing "we have started processing your application on 21st July,2014.:"

ALso, one more odd thing here was....my IME provided by CIC did not work at clinic and they have provided me with UMI form and they said they have created one UMI for me... same form I did sent to CIC as well.


Can someone please let me know , what should I do here? I ended up sending email to cpc ottawa , but did not received any response yet. I have requested GCMS notes as well. Waiting for response.

Please advice. Very much worried , as not sure about .....they received my medical or not.

really 12th july???...what was the name of the vendor who appeared on your CC statement or msg?

second, CIC never sends an email that your file has been transferred to local VO until asked for...and since its not been 10 weeks that they recvd ur file...you could not ask them? what was the CIC email address you recvd the email from?

Stop faking...may be i am wrong but if you are right then show us a proof

July 12th 2014 - Application was received by CIC
Category 2174


August 19th 2014 – Credit Card Charged

August 26th 2014 – Email from CIC stating they will send documents to local visa office for further processing.
I believe this is the PER people refer to.
Local Visa Office will make the final decision on it

Hey guys.. I need some help
me and my wife both sent applications under noc for "accountants" and "purchasing manager" on june 16. Then we didnt know whether we would both or either fall in the cap. So just to be safe we sent two applications thinking that one of will withdraw as soon as the other gets PER.
Now we are thinking that we dont want to pay $1,100 twice. Please suggest how to go about to avoid paying additional 1,100 $

That's interesting. CIC is still processing applications received in May. Have they jumped the queue and started processing for July? This is the 1st such instantce seen on the forum. Also getting PER within one week of payment charging....surprising!

Previously another forum member by name gaganp said his DD was charged for a application receive date of 26 June! Both cases seem impossible!!

Tracking and calling on Canada Post Web Site – stated they do not know the whereabouts of my documents.
CIC later stated they never received my documents.

Attempt 2:
Didn’t have faithe they would find my documents so I put together another application again in July 2014 and received the updates I posted just now.

That explains your timeline. May be CIC is processing your first sent application and not the one you sent in July. that is the only possible way I could think of. when did you first sent your application (exact date)?

1st one I mailed it May 4th 2014.

nope but the next charge would be for apps of 20th may, once CIC is over with 16th may as 17, 18, 19 were holidays in canada... ;D ;D ;D

Unfortunately, that was one way to get an exemption - think creatively if you can probably sniff around and find something on their website that helps your case (as in a policy etc. that says they normally don't entertain such requests).

I have heard that this country doesn't give PCC here in India easily, and there was this lady in the forum like 2.5 months ago who mentioned the same about Afghanistan as well as Sudan I think - or any similar African country that I am probably getting the name confused with (the country's name reminded me of humanitarian work related occupation of her's but she never responded to my ask of what she did in these countries).

If you can find e-mail ID then just shoot an email and that can act as a proof that you tried reaching - most likely VO might be okay if one can't get a PCC from Afghanistan if there is even minimal evidence that you tried reaching etc.

Well CIC did Officially email me end of June 2014 to say they never received my application (months after May).
By that time they should have received it.
Canada Site still currently states - item not delivered based for the first package.

2nd package via CanadaPost did state - delivered and signed for.

Hence I want to believe it was the 2nd package that worked?

But I wont know officially which one it was. Mysterious.

Approach 2. Assuming no other assets or liabilities, your assets are 25k, your liabilities are 8k and your settlement funds are 15k.

Just I made FDR this week, can I show this settlement fund? Should I show

2. Bank Certificate + FDR certificate

You can actually, based on ur ECAS status. Now that you also got PER, it should show you. If it states that your application was received in May...you may choose to withdraw your second and avoid processing fee.
