See VOs have some sort of annual calendar as well. Especially a VO like India will be jam-packed with so much population in our country. Until now they were likely focusing on the 'student visas' as this is the time for fall admissions (another hint Jango just left for a Canadian college recently). Several Indian applicants are busy getting last minute study visas at this time of the year. Now that rush must have been over or coming to an end. Next NDVO will put its planning / focus on FSW cases. NDVO is no less busy than CIC, considering the population of India and cost / benefit of having an Indian worker / office which means quite a lot of work for the India VO office.

Clear now.. ECAS status updation normally on tuesdays. Hope today will update some cases.

Guys - Amongst those who chose NDVO as visa office - Did anyone advance any further than the PER stage yet? If yes then please share what to expect next after PER? Perhaps an email from visa office? Which ID it may come from and the email format? The first lucky person who receives this email should share with all forum mates.

I have 8yrs wrk exp. i hve wrked at 5 diff companies so i provided exp letters n recommendation letters.
My first 3 comp recommendation lettrs are not on company letter heads, since my manager moved to diff comp..i took recmnnd letters on a plain paper with their sign, phone, n email address..is that fine?

I have submitted all work related letters, i have 8yrs of exp letters, relieving letters, joining letters etc, were all submitted..

My last 5 yrs recommendations are on company letter head..

Hii Thanks for responses,

Any one have an idea how much caps might be filled up for NOC 2131 category (Civil Engineers) to date. As per cic website its 75, however as some of our friends in the forum said that these figures are as of May 16th, will this category hold up till october. Please shed some more light on the matter.

Thankss
Its difficult to say, even CIC employees wont be knowing.

As per analysis, around 550 caps can be filled up for NOC 2131 category (Civil Engineers). For details, please check the below spreadsheet

Nice ID - please put this thought back where it originated (i.e. in the gutter) ;)

Trust me last year when my application returned the entire family was in a shock for at least 2 days - as my application had reached CIC on May 27th (FSW had opened on May 4th last year) and there were tons of suspicion in my mind until I received by fee charge / PER this year - I think this is quite normal human behavior!! BTW, MK probably is a junior guy like a mail room clerk.

Well said buddy :D

LMAOOOOO... :P :P :P :P :P :P :P ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Hi Guys,

Just an update here.

July 12th 2014 - Application was received by CIC
Category 2174

August 19th 2014 – Credit Card Charged

August 26th 2014 – Email from CIC stating they will send documents to local visa office for further processing.
I believe this is the PER people refer to.
Local Visa Office will make the final decision on it

Nothing to do from your side. Be patience. You will hear from them soon. Btw check with your bank whether you DD got encashed or not ?

I disagree that IDP is unprofessional. I got an 8.5 from IDP. IDP is more stringent in terms of awarding marks. IDP does give good scores, but only to really good and deserving candidates. I agree, it is considered slightly difficult as compared to BC and hence many candidates prefer BC.

It is wrong to malign an institution, just because they have awarded you less marks.

Well we are all expressing our opinions based on our experiences and not maligning any institutions here. Anyways thete are hundreds of examples from multiple users on these forums.
It is wrong to dismiss our opinions just because it gave you good marks. I believe this is flawed reasoning.

Yes....two original ECAS should be given especially from WES.
Send the current one back as-is while you you forget about it and prepare for another one to be submitted.
Wishing you well.
Cheers.

Wouldn't it be wise to include the updated forms now?

In anticipation of AOR and/or MR as the case may be for NDVO visa office, would it be prudent to start applying for PCC, especially for countries like US ?
How long are these PCC's valid for and will Local visa office accept a back dated PCC? Any advice from anyone who has a good understanding is highly appreciated..

Goku said:
Yes they might reject your application if PCC not provided within time frame.

i had been in Afghanistan for more than 6 months and Afghan embassy people at N.Delhi are refusing to provide any Pcc. . Moreover they are telling to go back to Afghan and take PCC from there. >:( >:( :o and this is not possible

Dont know now wat to do now.
