Not really. NDVO takes more time than this.... And other country VOs too take time. So have patience..

I thought London are the slowest ones, but many of members get medicals faster even from ndvo!

Interestingly, I got the request email from Paris VO (my visa office was Ankara).

They also ask for 2 more docs.

I have already updated SS

My application reached CIO on May 5 2014 and IELTS was valid till 26 May 2014 and I received PER. I don't understand why his application was rejected for this reason.

None of FSW 2013 applicants from Singapore got any MR forget about Visa. So your world is not as bad as you think.

people get faster results from ndvo or Singapore.....how come u guys saying that? I thought London were the slowest ones?

better get attested, I am obtaining my wife's pcc from BD, they also use to get it attested from foreign affairs from dhaka for US applicants, but Canada don't require, still they said better get attested cos if they asked for attestation then I have to obtain it again, wasting time, so even if Canadians don't require attested one, still get it done. I would advice to get it attested if they have this policy, if required then u will already have it, if not then no probs.

This is ridiculous... Better send a hard copy of this letter with your Courier acknowledge... don't rely on email.. they wont respond before 4 weeks on email.

Bro .. I am sitting for IELTS on 6th September (Next weekend). Shall I send my package again attaching everything? Or send just the 3 things (which would serve no purpose actually):

a. Proof of Delivery
b. IELTS scorecard
c. This letter

I am not in favour of sending other documents are I am sure that I wont get them back in the next 3 months even if I send them today. That would unnecessarily delay my next application.

bro don't waste time, get ur language test again, re-apply in the 1st priority, hopefully u can make it for 2171. I wud not advice u to go after this application by sending docs for proof, as they have rejected it, better send new one with valid test scores. good luck dude. don't loose hopes.

hardluck bro, but 2171 is not hot, attempt again, hopefully u can make it this time. it takes 13 days to get ielts result, u can re-apply within 20 days again. and plz dont attempt such risks.....guys at cio are uncertain in this regard. good luck.

This is the second case with similar reason... It seems that they are checking the date when they are opening up the application for eligibility review.. Not the date when it was delivered to CIO... This could only be the reason... 5th May app would have been processed somewhere at the end of May.. and then came the 6th and 7th...
And for this case they started processing it in July or August and found that the IELTS result expired on 26th May..and ...
So sorry to hear the case but ...

1. Try to get that reference letter with details;
2. If not possible for point 1, then try to increase your points in IELTS.

My CC got Charged last Aug 22, I have UCI from FSW2013 (Cap Reached)

ECAS - "We were not able to identify you"

How long it will take to update my ECAS?

DOes CIC issue the same UCI from last year FSW2013?
