What is the current average number of days to get PCC/Medical Request from CPC-Ottawa after getting PER email?
It was ranging from 10 days to a month. I am not sure about current time frame.

Do we get both PCC, & Medical request together? (Please any one who already got it in 2014, answer this doubt). Thank you!
PCC - They only request PCC if you name search comes positive. If it comes negative they wont request PCC from you.
Sometimes they senD PCC, MR and RPRF together, Sometimes PCC & MR, & sometimes MR. No fixed pattern.

Thanks Goku, this is the first time I heard that PCC is issued only if we get positive for criminal records check (like if there is any incident). I was thinking that PCC are mandatory irrespective of their background check.

Any other thoughts?

It is advisable not to write anything after validate. Just leave it blank.

I wrote in after validating, it was fine. I agree that this should be minimized and only done for very good reason. Fax number can be left blank.

I was suppose to lodge last July 30 but due to UNEXPECTED circumstances, I have moved it to this months end.

I did not get the scores I needed on the IELTS I took last July 10. I got all 7s. I did not expect this because I got all 8s last year and it was even ACAD! I felt robbed, mugged, and whatever synonym you could think of which describes losing money. :'( I needed the 2 points... If only my listening was 8. :'(

I moved on and rescheduled to retake the exam this Saturday (Aug 16). Wish me luck! I now have trauma in the listening section.

If you get all 7 then you are already heading to 24 points, can not go higher than that, why are you reappearing ? are you applying for AU immigration or what ?

Thanks for the reply.

I am asking in order to check my status online. I am an 8th of May applicant and I am trying to use the 8 digit number on my visit visa sticker to Canada as my UCI number. I want to make sure whether UCI numbers are issued on first time visit visas as some websites mention that UCIs are only printed on second time visit visas and not on first time visit visas' stickers.

No you misunderstood what I said. There are many people with exact same name as yours. They search their database with your name and say search comes positive. Now the thing is they dont know if you are the one with criminal record or other guy with exact name as yours. So, to clear the confusion they send you request for PCC.

As per my knowledge you need to get your PCC from Angola compulsorily.. As they don't compromise on security reasons..

Experts I need your advice really.
Nobody answered my previous query clearly on this forum.
the VO sent me email requesting PCC from Angola. a country which I am not residing in now. However, my communication with the embassy of angola in Dubai proved that I should be in angola in person to apply, which is hard since entering Angola is hard without a job offer of company invitation.

Do you think it is enough o write the VO saying this?

Hi Experts,

I am applying for the FSW as the principle and including my spouse and my 7 year old step-son. Though am having a challenge completing the IMM0008. According to my wife the biological father of my step-son does not qualify as a "common-law partner" based on CIC's definition, because they hardly lived together. In fact my step-son's birth certificate does not indicate him as the father (its blank).

My questions are as follows;
-Should I mark the "Have you previously been married or in a common-law relationship?" for my wife as No?
-Do I still have to complete "Separation Declaration for Minors Travelling to Canada" (IMM 5604), since the father is an absentee father and cannot be referred to as "former common-law partner" as indicated in this form (IMM 5604)?
