Dear friends,

I have just received an email from Bucharest VO that my application is transferred to Bucharest and they will continue processing there.

Please update my status. 8)

However, They are requesting PCC from each country where I lived more than 6 months. For me, I live in Angola for 3 years but I can NOT get PCC from there. How can I explain this to the VO? will this affect my application? I am really worried about that.

please I need your expertise in this.

They say you should approach the local police authority for a PCC. This is the first time I've seen a country where it doesn't give any advice for getting one remotely.

Can you contact the local police authority by phone or e-mail and ask them how one can be issued? Try to get them on the record such as by e-mail or fax saying they won't issue one to you remotely.

If you really CANNOT get one, explain this to the local VO and see what they say about it, but at least you should make a genuine attempt to get one first and preferably be able to provide documentation that you made the attempt.

Its gonna take a while. They are still working on May 13th - May 14th applications

I was suppose to lodge last July 30 but due to UNEXPECTED circumstances, I have moved it to this months end.

I did not get the scores I needed on the IELTS I took last July 10. I got all 7s. I did not expect this because I got all 8s last year and it was even ACAD! I felt robbed, mugged, and whatever synonym you could think of which describes losing money. :'( I needed the 2 points... If only my listening was 8. :'(

I moved on and rescheduled to retake the exam this Saturday (Aug 16). Wish me luck! I now have trauma in the listening section.

Hi

Would someone show me where I could find the UCI number?

Is it on the right lower part under the space for the number of Person(s)?

It's an 8 digit number with no hyphen and starts with number 9.

What confuses me is that some websites mention that Canada visa stickers issued for the first time do not contain the UCI number. Only second time and subsequent visas could include the UCI number of the applicant?

Do anyone has any idea?

Today is our Independence Day celebrations and receiving PER email was a great positive feeling combination....love u all guys and thanks to all senior members for their help...after joining this forum i got confidence to apply my case without immigration consultant...Plz update .....

Experts I need your advice really.
Nobody answered my previous query clearly on this forum.
the VO sent me email requesting PCC from Angola. a country which I am not residing in now. However, my communication with the embassy of angola in Dubai proved that I should be in angola in person to apply, which is hard since entering Angola is hard without a job offer of company invitation.

Do you think it is enough o write the VO saying this?

Dear Forum Members/Friends.


I have submitted my application to CIC on May 14-2014 under Noc 2171/1112 (either of two) as i have work experience under both the NOC codes.

Have been using VOIP to call CIC ,.Have called up atleast 10 to 15 times but they say they have no access to the CIC database.

I have sent a mail to CIC around 25 days back but got no response.
I tried calling Bank of Nova Scotia Gloabl Nostro Reconciliation desk to check if the Bank Draft is encashed ,did not get any response from them either.

Tried to check with HDFC bank Mumbai but did not get any response either.

Had my UCI number when my Work permit file was rejected in 2010.

MyFSW file returned back in 2013 as the quota was full.

Tried entering UCI number thru CIC website , it displays no results .

It has been over 92 days where in my application has submitted and getting anxious.

How can I get to know the status of my application .......It has been a long time & long wait .

Praying to God.......

I hope you chose only one primary NOC for your application? Or submitted two separate applications, one for 1112 and one for 2171? Because listing two primary NOCs is not allowed.
