What is the importance of mentioning the city of destination in the application. Suppose i mention calgary but landed in toronto and stays there. Does that have any effect in future?

CIC officials will be waiting for you in Calgary, and when you land in Toronto instead, imagine how will they feel.

Just kidding. It is only but a survey type question.

Regards

Congrats...

Hi,

I have a question regarding FSWP work experience requirement. I have worked as a financial analyst in financial planning and analysis department of a global manufacturing company in US for 3.5 years. Although my job title was "financial analyst" (later, senior financial analyst), my main duties are very far from the job description for NOC code 1111 -Financial analyst. I did mainly managerial finance, forecasting and budget, variance analysis and other financial planning and analysis related projects.

I would think that my job description is somewhat close to 1112-accountant, but not exactly the same. What should I do? Should I tailor my job description so that it matches with 1112-accountant or apply under 1111-financial analyst? Please advise.

You are mixing up 1111 and 1112. 1111 is auditors and accountants and 1112 is financial and investment analysts. Be very careful about choosing the right code, because choosing an incorrect code on schedule 3 is a fatal error that will result in rejection. From what you have described I'd say you qualify under 1112. But also check 1114, 0013, 0111. Certainly you should be able to fit into one of those.

You should assist in preparing your letter so that it is clear to CIC that your duties match the NOC under which you are applying, especially because they are not trained in these fields and don't understand the technical jargon, abbreviations, etc. But you should not prepare a letter that does not accurately reflect the job you did.

If you go into more detail on your job duties maybe we can help you match.

If your other experience in Skill level O,A & B then you will get pints for that..

Hi, provision of a reference letter from your employer in complete CIC format is one of the requirements for FSW 2014. Check the complete requirements in the Instructions Guide and the Document Checklist. :)

Congrats buddy....:D

Minimum 13.

If you can prove that your other jobs fall under particular NOC/NOCs (regardless of 50 eligible NOCs) and those/that NOC/s fall/s under skill level O, A, or B, you will get points for those experiences also.

So, maximum 15.

thanks a lot for your reply..they have mentioned the date since i am working as authorised person with them and agree to abide by the rules and regulation of SEBI as well as company. there is no salary as brokers work on commissions

secondly Certificate from regulatory is in itself is govt document and also anybody can check my registration certificate on NSE website.

You will get maximum points (15), so long as the below is true:

1. 10+ years of work experience falls in skill Level O,A or B

Determine your NOC category -

STEP 1. Go to the NOC 2011 website at: www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC/
STEP 2. Click on “ Search the NOC...”

2. You have at least 1 year of continuous experience in one of the 50 eligible occupations, as declared for FSW 2014

red chillis will solve that issue better if you ask many here... ;D ;D ;D ;D

Brother,

For London VO, they dont issue AOR...Directly MR--->PPR1--->PPR2 or if they need more Docs then Doc requests....

Sometimes they also request for interviews too....that what happened for first batch of LVO applicants on FSW13....

With an avg of 1 yr they are taking to clear the applicants.....Which seems very much reasonable ...:)
