Hello guys, quick question:

I intend to apply for 2 different NOCs. Do I need different reference letters? In my current position, I do work related to both so my emplyer just wrote everything in the same reference letter. Can I use the same for both applications?

The danger is that a letter that attempts to qualify for 2 different NOCs may be interpreted by CIC as not qualifying for either, because the minimum requirement is one year full time in your primary NOC. If you are only doing half time in one NOC and half time in the other that's not full time.

It would be far better to have one letter from one employer for one NOC and a different letter from a different employer for the other NOC.

Which means you have left the security code section on the fee payment form empty?

How will they charge your card then ?

No, I did provide the three digit code, but when i do some online transaction in saudi arabia, it asks for a Mastercard Secure code, which is another security by the bank here.

Thank you very much,

Do i need to send photocopies of my SSC and Intermediate marks memos while i am submitting my application.

1. I have placed the visiting card on the reference letter & make the photocopy of those for sending with the application. Is it sufficient?
2. I have translated my National Id (Bengali) & sent the copy of
a. Affidavit from translator mentioning the translator's educational information, worked with photocopy of original etc.
b. English translated copy (seal of translator & notary public) &
c. Bengali version copy (only organization seal not attested)
are they sufficient?

R you indian???
There is no NID for INDIANS..
Any document that is not in English or french must be accompanied by
The English or french translation and
An Affidavit from the person who completed the translation and
A certified copy of original document
Ideally reference letter must be on company's letterhead, but if your supervisor or some senior is giving you reference letter then it can be on plain A4 paper with his/her visiting card. Don't forget to match 70-80% of your job responsibility as per your NOC code, hours of working(full time), number of days working per week and salary you are getting.
Please attach original visiting card...( why to attach photocopy of a visiting card )

Should I also get PCC from USA in my case? It looks like it'll take 16-18 weeks to get one, and I'm not sure if it can be done from out of the country. :(

You need a PCC from anywhere you have lived for 6 consecutive months or longer, any time since you turned 18. If 4 months was your longest stay in the USA, you won't need a PCC. Of course, if you have a criminal record anywhere, you still must disclose it, whether you need a PCC or not.

It is easy to get a PCC from the FBI from anywhere in the world. CIC maintains a page telling you how to get a PCC from any country: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/index.asp
