Hey guys,

A quick question: I'm currently an FSW primary applicant for the 2014 quota and recently received my medical request and RPRF request (CPC-Ottawa). We have submitted our medicals and are waiting for a final decision on our case.

I do not have an job offer in Canada, but my wife has one that will start in a few months. Even it if she is not the primary, will it help expedite processing of the final process in any way? Any use in sending a copy of the offer letter to the CPC email address?

Given you have already submitted medicals and CPP-O is working lightning fast, I'm guessing you will have your visas and be able to land within the few months before your wife's employment begins. If it comes closer to that time, you could either have your wife contact the job and ask for a slight delay, or possibly contact CPP-O to ask what can be done, though I have not heard of any case similar to this so I don't know if they will make any allowance for you.

Congrats to all who have got PER news.

I was told be WES to send a duplicate report to CIC, which i did on 2nd august. My application also reached on 7th May and dd also got encashed begore 24june, still no PER?

Can anyone help me and advise me on this.

Looks like it was raining heavily yesterday night...

Wait wait wait .... I mean PER RAIN and I am happy to announce that I was also drenched in the same rain yesterday.

Finally the GOLDEN email has arrived with same content but my name in my email inbox.

PER Received finally after exact 3 months.

Yes you can use the same text provided it is relavant for the respective NOC you are filling in, as i follow from your earlier posts that your total experience is 4.5 in which you have hopped various roles, not sure how the same is mentioned in your reference letter.

Whatever it may be, please ensure that your primary code should be more than 1 year and the duties in the code should be clearly defined, you may mention the other codes and their respective responsibilities as well in the other columns.

For experience letter, I'm using reference letters from ex-manager and supervisors on stamp paper - no company letterhead. I'm copy/pasting my "main duties" into the Economic Classes form (additional word doc) from these letters word by word.

Here's a sample from this form (a bullet point from each role)

• Handle organization's Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) offering on the cloud, based on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Plan and manage the use of the visualization products, mainly VMware products. This includes the planning for storage capacity and compute resources.
• Provide technical assistance and support for all users either in person, email, tickets, or over the phone - for hardware, software and application problems.

Hi all...Just need advise from u all....I am still waiting to apply in FSW 2014 in University professors and lecturers (4011) category,,,My WES credential will arrive next week mostly,,,,Is it too late to apply now or I just go ahead....,,Since I am not working in my own country so I have just one payslip from my previous employers, though I have taken duty responsibility letter from all previous employers, will it be enough to proceed further, ...and I have applied in Nova scotia programme2014 under RMLD stream also but no response from there should I mention this in my application now,,,,,please guide me.

well, the CIO ofcourse, i am just regarding everyone dealing with my package as an officer to help me get a visa....

[size=9pt] It should not be too brief either as I have seen reference letters that have just 5 to 8 words in each bullet point. That won't do. And the one I saw was returned by CIC for this very reason. The reference letter content should be along the lines of the NOC guide content but tailored to one's own work experience. If in NOC guide they have used long sentences there for one's NOC then better to match those in style and language, keeping the content related to one's actual work.

I wasn't referring to ref. letters but the Economic Classes form which has only limited space for typing.
