Hello Everyone....Can anyone tell me what are the chances of getting PR if i send document by end of september. My NOC code is 2281. IELTS dates are not available in Hyderabad and nearby cities in august..

Gosh, a recent Google Spreadsheets code update has broken half of our main spreadsheet functionality.
Charts are broken, and spreadsheet entry/updates appear to misbehave as well.
Got a sleepless night investigating it.
No reason to worry, though, it should not cause long-term issues for us. Fixing it now.

Clearly the work and support you have been doing in SS is commendable. There is no second thought about it.

But, I think the way we have our SS is much better compared to last year, so I guess there are no more R & D required in it to let you have sleepless nights. As per as trend for PER is concern at the moment, its not very clear to forecast. So please leave SS the way it is for now, rather than by mistake we loose all the data.

Efforts appreciated anytime!!!!

I also see in the previous trails that the 7th may applicants are hearing the good news.. Do I predict that if we are through we may hear it in September then????

CIO is giving hard time. First, they didn't deliver anything on 1st August, on top of it 4th is holiday in Nova Scotia.

Come on CIO, increase your efficiency. We know most of you are on contract, it does not mean you trouble others for your temp jobs.

What? Why would we lose all the data?
It's not me who created these issues with the spreadsheet - it's because of an update done by Google. I don't blame Google for this, as the changes they've made can be considered an improvement for particular cases, but it's still a rather aggressive spreadsheet behavior change from their side.

By the way, I wanted to tell that I've just finished fixing these issues. All 19 affected entries were successfully recovered/fixed and no data has been lost. Charts are now fixed as well.

Regarding data safety, the data is stored not only in the spreadsheet, but also separately as a list of form responses.
In addition to that, I've been backing up the spreadsheet regularly, and I've implemented automatic daily backups today.
Perhaps the only thing that could be improved here is to store those backups somewhere else, so that they can't be modified or deleted. Like on a magnetic tape ;D Otherwise, we have a fairly good backup system already.

Also, by the way, if for some reason you don't trust me in handling the spreadsheet, you can easily make your own backups from time to time: Go to File->"Make a copy" in the menu - and that's it, you have your own backup copy of the spreadsheet
