Hi everyone

I wanted one information from you regarding form Filling

My spouse father is expired 15 years back, when i am filling the personal details of my spouse in background declaration form, shall i mention father details, if yes then the issue is we don't know his birthday (month and year is what we know).

can anybody suggest about this?

Thank you

Mustafa,

Your spouse father details must be filled!!

Now, you don't know his bday (but know month and Year)

Is there any document that his metric, higher secondary, driving license, voter id that can give you the date of birth of him?

If yes, check with that doc itself.
If no, put it 1st of Month and Year. (as there is no document that can contradict your statement 8) 8) 8))

Pray hard... ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Hello Guys,

Thanks a lot for such wonderful support being provided by you people. I have been following this thread for past many days. Would request experts to address my each query. I am applying for 0111 and in the mid of collecting documents.

1. Eligibility Points

I am calculating exact 67 point as follows:

a. Age
My DOB is 28-07-1979 and according to this I have completed 35 years few days back. So how many points I am eligible to get? Is it the maximum – 12? (If not 12, I would be in trouble; total points will fall to 66). Please suggest how much surety of getting 12.

b. IELTS

I scored: L = 6.50, R=8.50, W=6.00, S=6.50
According to my calculation my I got 19 points. Is it right ?

c. Experience

Have more than 10 years of experience. So I am entitled to 15.

d. Education

Expecting minimum 21. (Documents with WES right now).

As I am meeting exact 67 (subject to age criteria), should I make my spouse appear for IELTS exams ? It will take another one month to September end. Is it advisable to apply without spouse’s IELTS test ?

2. Passport

a. I have applied for renewal of my passport. My IELTS score card was given on old passport basis. So I will need to provide Xerox of old passport along with the IELTS Score card. Right ? Do I require to mention this in a separate explanation sheet ?

b. I am staying on rent in same place for past 3 years. So while applying for passport for my whole family, I mentioned my permanent address as same (not to complicate the things further). What could be the implications of this ?

3. Reference Letter

I have worked in following companies in last 6 years:
Company A : Nov 05 – Dec 09, Period 4 years
Company B : Jan10-Apr11, Period 1.25 yrs.
Company C: Apr11- Till Today, Period 3+yrs.

- I have got reference letter from A.

- B got shut down. There is no existence as of now. I have all other documents (Joining, Appraisal, Experience/Relieving, Salary detail, but not salary slips). I can get reference letter from my senior (in that company), who is in another company now. What is the best way in this situation?

- C is my current organization. I have no hope of getting reference letter from the company. However, I can try any of my colleague/senior team member to submit reference letter on plain paper with his business card. What could be the best wayout ?

- Is there any need to arrange reference letters from companies before A ? Or any other paper ?

4. Fund

I need to show $18100, Approx Rs 1.1 Mill (for three members). I have already parked my savings in one property. I have:
PF – I have some Rs. 3.50 Lacs. I read somewhere in this post that it is acceptable as POF. Is this right ? What documents do I need to prepare for this ?

MF- I have some Rs. 2.50 Lacs in MF. Can I show the original statements ? Or do I need to withdraw money to trf to my saving account to show liquid money ? If yes to any of these options, what documents to be prepared ?

Saving Account- Have some 1.50 Lacs.

Property – Have one plot in the name of my spouse. Registered value is 14 lacs (loan against it Rs. 14 Lacs, rest paid in cash/black). Any possibility to show this ? and How ?

Gold Jewellary – Have gold jewellary worth around Rs.5 Lacs. Can I show this as fund? If yes, how? If now, can I take gold loan show the liquid money for the time period?

If from above possibilities, I am unable to gather Rs.11 lacs, I would have to borrow money from somewhere. So for sure, I can not show my account statement, so I would go with balance certificate. So as a backup paper, can I show:
- That I gave some money to my friend as a loan which I got back. If yes, what documents?
- That I sold my gold jewellary. If yes, what documents?
- I got it as property settlement of my father. If yes, What documents ?
- Any other idea?

5. Birth Certificate

Both me and my spouse don’t have BC. And I have checked it is time taking process to get BC. Our Matriculation certificate shows name of Father only along with birth date. So would it be ok to submit this along with affidavit from our respective parents ? Any alternative ?

6. Marriage Certificate

Don’t have one. Any alternative to this? In Punjab, we have strange rule. One person from family of both sides, councillor from both sides have to be present for certificate. Have to do this if no way otherwise. Please suggest.

7. PCC

At this point of time, when I am approx. one month away from filling application, I can arrange PCC (I have done three passport enquiries by bribing police officer in the Police station itself ;D, so no issue). Is it advisable to procure PCC at this time ? I heard PCC is valid for one year. Also, how many years do police verify? I was in another city before this location. Please advice.

And finally what do you think of my case after such complexities. ;D

Request you again to try to attempt each question. Dear Experts, this is your test. :P :P

The first thing I would like to recommend is get your Spouse to take IELTS as well. This could give you extra points.

It looks like you are choked for points (67 exact) and if 1 or more of our work experiences do not satisfy the VO (Ref. Letters etc) then you fall below 67 points.

Just a quick review on my part.

Sometime they send PPR very next day and sometimes it takes about 2 months. So chill. 99.99% decision is in your favor.

Hi Medwiz, do you know if Egypt 2014 cases will move to Ottawa as they did for 2013 cases?

Good question and one that I actually asked in this forum previously but I don't think anyone knows...

I guess we will only find out once PER is issued and file transferred. ..Ottawa are for sure processing faster then Cairo so maybe it would be better if it's transferred there. ..is there any way we can contact the VO in Cairo (Canadian Embassy) to inquire about this?

@ Applicants from America

It seems many of you who've applied from the US have had medical requests from their respective VOs (Ottawa and NY).

Find below an excellent link that I've found that details the medical process from a member by the name of Kanamen

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/medical-examinationmade-easy-t133692.0.html

This link will be very useful for other members on this forum, too, when they get their medical requests.

Good luck!

you will get 12 points, as if 36 completed then you will get 11.

b. IELTS

According to my calculation my I got 19 points. Is it right ?

correct. for your reference: http://www.fsw2014.info/ielts-scores-and-points-for-principal-applicant/

c. Experience

Have more than 10 years of experience. So I am entitled to 15.

As I am meeting exact 67 (subject to age criteria), should I make my spouse appear for IELTS exams ? It will take another one month to September end. Is it advisable to apply without spouse's IELTS test ?

go for wife's ielts for safer side as 0111 is having only 19 PER given hence no risk for getting it full. you have enough time. Not the hot noc.

2. Passport

a. I have applied for renewal of my passport. My IELTS score card was given on old passport basis. So I will need to provide Xerox of old passport along with the IELTS Score card. Right ? Do I require to mention this in a separate explanation sheet ?

While drafting a cover letter you can provide this explanation

b. I am staying on rent in same place for past 3 years. So while applying for passport for my whole family, I mentioned my permanent address as same (not to complicate the things further). What could be the implications of this ?

Not sure for this, as under police verification they check about last 10 years of stay.

3. Reference Letter

I have worked in following companies in last 6 years:
Company A : Nov 05 – Dec 09, Period 4 years
Company B : Jan10-Apr11, Period 1.25 yrs.

MF, gold & property will not be counted.

If from above possibilities, I am unable to gather Rs.11 lacs, I would have to borrow money from somewhere. So for sure, I can not show my account statement, so I would go with balance certificate. So as a backup paper, can I show:

Bank statement they "might" ask. So it is always better that you should maintain the balance. If not, and if they ask for the statement then get ready for some logical answer to satisfy the VO. I am not sure for proving your statement will they ask for any further documents or not.

5. Birth Certificate

Both me and my spouse don't have BC. And I have checked it is time taking process to get BC. Our Matriculation certificate shows name of Father only along with birth date. So would it be ok to submit this along with affidavit from our respective parents ? Any alternative ?

You need birth certificate for both of you. There are other possibility of marksheet and school leaving certi. not known to me in detail. ask experts.

6. Marriage Certificate

Don't have one. Any alternative to this? In Punjab, we have strange rule. One person from family of both sides, councillor from both sides have to be present for certificate. Have to do this if no way otherwise. Please suggest.

You have to have this.

forget about this for now as it is not mandatory. Focus on other things. police verify last 10 years of your stay.

And finally what do you think of my case after such complexities. ;D

Keep patience and get things clear turn by turn.

Request you again to try to attempt each question. Dear Experts, this is your test. :P :P

Dear all members,

First of all my heartily congratulations to all PER holders and very best wishes to all other members for their PER emails. I am seeking your advise again. As I explained in my earlier post that I already applied in incorrect 2171 NOC and my file reached there on 23rd June. Now, I want to resend new application with correct 2281 NOC. I am waiting for my spouse's additional IELTS TRF. It will take 10-12 days to get that. Without his IELTS I am not sure whether I am scoring 66 points or 68 points. I have calculated my points as follows:

Education: 23 (BSc (IT) and MBA)
Age : 12
IELTS : 22
Spouse IELTS: 5 ( confuse? Whether include it or not ?)
Work experience: 9 or 11 points (I have two work experiences : 1 year paid training and 9 months experience as system administrator matching with 2281 NOC + 1 year and 4 months current experience as system analyst job duties are matching with 2281 NOC) so total 25 months experience in 2281 NOC

My query is am I able to get 11 points on above description of two work experience. Both have long time gap. First one is in year 2006-2008 and second is from last march 2013...till date

Do I need to wait for my spouse IELTS or should I go ahead without that? Am I already too late to apply for 2281?

Another big concern, which making us worry every single minute.......... Are we doing right now to send another file without waiting for response of first file?

Or are we again doing big mistake by sending another file? Will CIC invalidate both files or accept new file? What will happen if they send PER of first file?

Should we wait for their positive/negative response of first file? Or is it too late to apply again by then in this year cap?

As per the Canada Gazette of 26th June , an applicant can apply multiple applications at a time but the experience should be vary according to different NOC out of 50 eligible occupations.
But my scenario is bit different, earlier I had applied under 2171 NOC and this time my NOC will change to 2281 code and job duties will remain same. So here the question is : is it legitimate to file my second application on same work experience and same Job duties in different NOC code? Is it sound lawful?

Plz guys, give me some input on this issue. Your valuable suggestion/opinion can save my family's life. Thanks in advance. Waiting for your reply.............
