Hey Guys,

My CC charged, just g :)t message and I have updated the sheet too. (NOC CODE 1111)

Please tell me the next step and when will be the suitable time to apply for PCC. As I have not sent the same.

Further, i need to inform to local visa also for updates as I have resigned from current job and Had shown Provident Fund as POF which is withdrawn by now. SO, when I should inform these two things to Local VIsa office.

At last, Will be grateful for seniors and other fellas who holds lot of patience and discussed each query in detail.

Regards

Congratulation :)
PCC in india takes maximum 1 month. Hence once your status is updated with file transferred to local visa office, you can go for PCC. As even after that it will take minimum 1 month to raise request for documents and will give some time as well after that.

Once VO will contact you at that point of time you have to inform them about any updated status regarding your file.

For example, i have the new passport for me & my wife, will inform the VO once i got any the luck charm call from them :)

[size=9pt] From what I have heard brother ashif and others say this one is tricky (though I am not sure why, since CIC says one should get points for all skill level 0, A and B categories) and one should only count those extra points from additional jobs of different NOCs as extra cushion in their minds

I am guessing that reference letter in the asked format is what CIC should look for, but not sure if one gets penalized for not listing the additional jobs on the form itself. So difficult to say!!! ???

Reference letter doesn't have compensation details so I hv attached salary slips of all employment n form 16 of last 3 yrs.... n it says I ws a full time employee... hope ths shd wrk

Supplementary Information_Travels_IMM5562E

List all trips you have taken outside your country of origin or of residence in the last ten years (or since your 18th birthday if this was less than ten years ago). Include all trips: tourism, business, training, etc.

Hi guys,

I searched the forum and found this question already discussed threadbare, and everyone has their own interpretation.

Some say that all travels between the country of origin and residence need to be listed.

Some argue that only the travels to countries, other than either country of origin and residence should be listed.

While some said it is wrong if you give them the full list, others mentioned it doesn't hurt to give extra information.

My take:

The question statement and the guide say that the travels outside the country of origin or residence are to be included. I think outside is the keyword here, rather than origin and residence. CIC doesn't care about travels inside the countries of origin and residence, but any travel outside must be listed. That translates into mentioning all international travel whatsoever.

On the other hand, travel to the country of residence (from the country of origin) has already been backed up elsewhere and supported through entry documents. This leaves only countries other than the origin and residence to be listed on the travels form.

If someone will like to add to this, kindly do.

Regards

PS:
Suggestions for CIC :)
-Be less ambiguous
-Please correct font sizes on the forms
-Allow all forms to be saved.

Hi everyone,
we have a new idea proposed by PinguimGuy regarding a possible improvement to the default spreadsheet sorting order, and we'd like to discuss it :)
In my opinion, this idea looks really good and is worthy to be the new default sorting order:
Keep applications sorted by their status as it is right now, but inside each status, sort by a different column:
For "At CIO" applications, sort by App.received date in descending order.
For "Payment charged" applications, sort by Fee Encashed Date, in descending order.
For "PER Received" applications, sort by PER Received Date, etc.

I've implemented a Filter View, which demonstrates the proposed sorting order exactly as described:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/11gAbKSoDoOr1s8_raB1qwz0i-ZH0NyNWhhn18O6kHwQ/edit#gid=1627896255&fvid=1141630743
This link sorts properly only when current number of viewers is less than 50, so here's also a screenshot, just in case (clickable):

This way we can see all the news for a particular status right away, and this is exactly the question so many people often ask here. For example, all newly charged applications are at the top of the "Payment charged" section, and by looking at their received date you can easily see that CIC is currently processing payments for May 12 applications, and that some May 8-9 applications are still being processed as well.
You can also easily see that we have our first May 7 applicants with PER, - they are at the top of PER received section.
Similarly, all newly transferred applications are at the top of "File Transferred" section. Etc.

The old default sorting order among applications of the same status is by NOC. I remember, it was because we wanted to be able to count how many applications there are per each NOC. However, now there are so many applications in many different statuses that the usefulness of sorting by NOC looks unclear anymore. It seems easier to just check the "Apps by NOC" sheet rather than counting this manually.

If we approve the new sorting order, the old one will be accessible via Filter Views, in case anyone still needs it.

In my opinion, this sorting order is really much more useful than the old one, but I'd like to hear opinions of our forum members on this.
If you support it, or in case you have any objections or other better ideas, please tell.
If there are no objections, I can make this the default sorting order :)

I think this is better.

You are awesome.

+1

Here are the documents i have attached for DOB proof:

i. Secondary School leaving Certificate - Where my 10th class marks printed
ii. Higher Secondary Course Certificate - Where my 12th class marks printed
iii. Marriage Certificate
iv. Passport
v. Voter's Card issued by Indian Government
vi. Cover letter

My Parents names are NOT PRINTED in my both (i) and (ii) but available in my Marriage Certificate and Passport. ONLY my father's name is printed in Voter's ID.

I am not sure these may be applicable for the applicants whose DOB is on and After 1980(Per some forums and friend's suggestions). Hence, those applicants may need to get affidavits or so which i am not much aware of.

Sorry to say but none of those will work as DOB proof (unless you get lucky), The document must have your date of birth with your mother's and father's name(Passport cannot be considered as DOB proof as it is a travel document) . If you are from India and completed your 10th standard from CBSE , You can use DOB certificate which CBSE issues. That will definitely work

aav, I think you should not mind what oscar7 writes or says. I have not even read his long messages but i know by now he must have written some nonsense again.. He has nothing else to do and so he keeps writing all mess here with his silly attitude. In real life(and also here) he must be loser having no friends and bad relations with everybody. people must be ignoring him all the time as nobody likes him, he cant confront anyone in real life so he just needs some place where he can mess around and feel important(to himself).

now after reading my comment, his bottom will burn a lot and he will start jumping, crying and continue his nonsense even more and now when he does this, dont feel pity for him..
just ignore him and leave him alone...!!
Good luck with your process :)

Pretty harsh man. Oscar's humor isn't for everyone but he helps a lot of people.

Thanks brother Century.
I feel that how difficult it would be for you guys to check who are those luck charms waiting for their update in SS.

You would be checking last 10 20 post.

Damn! There has to be some solution.

Hello,
I am a 5 may applicant, and I received PER on 16 June. I have heard any answer from VO since than . Nevertheless, my status is "IN PROGRESS" and as detail "Your application was received on 5 May". Is there anyone who applied around that date, get PER and received a signal form VO?
Thank you!
