+1 Thanks mate for your help. I am wondering also whether CIC get suspicious on the gap between the last semester exam and final date of award? Another confusing thing to me, whether a WES recognized Masters (UK) in Electronics Engineering can award me 23 points. Do you think I have still time to apply in August 2nd where I find in 2133, 11 out of 1000 has been filled up by 7/9th May?

There is nothing to get suspicious about if you have a gap of a year in your studies, worst case scenarios is that they'll ask for clarification on this during your interview. Can't say anything about CAP but I'd try if I were you, especially because NOC 2133 isn't super hot IMO. WES did recognize my all three master's degrees, one from India, one from UK and one from USA and I will get 23 points, too bad isn't it? I should get 23x3 for having 3 master's degrees ;-)

hi guys...

this might be a good news to some,, and some might be worrying as what is happening...
Even I am surprised to see a pending activity on my CC account from Citizenship IMM FSw today (july 23).. It is not confirmed charges yet..charges are showing as pending. Does it mean CIC charged my CC?

App sent date: May 7
Received : May 14
Category: 2131

I will update spreadsheet once i get confirmation from my CC account.
It looks like there is movement at CIC...
Good luck to everyone..

hi kumar,
Congratzz bro... butpls check ur details in SS. The received date is entered as 16th May. If its wrong pls update

To be on safer side around 60-70% of duties should match. I wouldn't suggest applying under that NOC with which your duties doesn't matches up-to larger extent.

You are in FSW2, meaning you have a job offer and LMO? That means you are not in the stream with the NOC (FSW1) people, so your timeline will be different. You are not in line with the NOC people and do not affect the cap.

It seems that CEC and FSW2 are being processed faster than NOC (FSW1). This could be part of the reason why no PERs for 7th May yet.

Most probably you should be able to make it. But I am not sure though. Regarding Degree it depends on ECA report concludes. If ECA report say that what you studied has Canadian equivalency of University degree at the Master's level or equal then you will get 23 points.

+1 Thanks brother. It says
It says
Credential: Master of Science...........
Institution Status: Recognized
Admission Requirements: Bachelor's degree..........
Canadian Equivalence: Masters Degree

If ECA report says that your bachelors degree has Canadian equivalency of Master Degree then yes you will get 23 points for that.

I don't know much about engineering NOC. I found in your JD too much using of CAD. This is why I suggest to look into 2253 just in case it matches more with this NOC and you don't know it and your file get return.

As you confirming that your job does not match more with 2253 but with 2232, so apply to this category. ;D
