Anyone experiencing any issues with Fedex lately? I sent my application on the 10th July and the tracker is still showing the package at Nova Scotia sorting facility. It has been sitting in NS since Tuesday. I am very disappointed in Fedex.

Coming directly to the point of debate : its wont be possible for Wipro "to create 25 new senior positions there (in Canada) at all ! If that's the Takeway from "merely reading the headlines"

-- Out of the so called '25' .. almost 20 are already there .. in the form of existing Management team of ATCO ('Canadians') which will be retained on Wipro's payroll after completion the deal So net savings from survival jobs for Forumites will be max. 5

And most of the people here already knows "the 1000 jobs created...in outsourcing are mostly for freshers or folks with 2-5 years of experience" ...if that's it to hear from someone cruising on a ship !!

I rest my case! If one is cruising on ships then their 'analyst' days are far behind them and they can count feathers of the bird by merely reading the headlines, don't have to dwell deep into the numbers. Numbers come easy to them, with a mere glance. But thanks anyway for the tutorial for the newbies!

PS - The debate is not around 1000 here versus 25 there , all I meant to say is good news if 25 new senior positions in Wipro open up there (if we are destined for Canada we should be thinking of prospects / avenues there) that means 25 of us have less to worry about job search in Canada after arriving if people can internally position themselves for these. That saves 25 people's 1 year of doing 'survival' jobs. The 1000 on the other hand were mostly jobs for freshers or folks with 2-5 years of experience.

Hello Nishu900, sorry to hear that your file was returned .. but can explain the situation which got ur file returned did they mention the reason ... schedule 3 form can have more one NOC cause i might start my career as developer then move into support and then may QA but i am trying to claim points for the NOC in which i have 6 yrs of experience isnt that right .??

Experts please comment cause i have been with few companies and some time i was 2173 and sometimes i am 2171 and i applied for 2171 cause i have 5.7 yrs of exp in current and 1 year i am showing it from previous company.

I too have the same quest ... i have also mentioned two NOC but claming points for highest year of experience... is there any problm n this regard...

Hello Friends,
Few clarity needed on Bank balance.

I managed balance and drafted balance certificate from bank when I submitted my file.
Now i do not have that much money and very less penny in my account.
As we have to manage money from some other resources (relatives), hence i am not maintaining right now.

3 questions:

1) VO will ask for bank statement once our file arrived at local visa office? if yes then, if they find 4 and 5 lakhs rupees credited into account (May) and after a month 9 lakhs rs debited (June), will that be fine? As of now my account is having roughly around 25 rs. So if they ask for statement will that be fine?

2) At what point, again I start maintaining balance?

3) How they will cross check our bank balance?

Appreciate your response.

When the Local Visa Office sends you medical request, they might ask you for a 6 months balance. Since yours is NDVO, it takes 6 to 10 months for you to get medicals. So, better deposit the balance as early as possible in your account.
