i think it's normal in a per mail. u can submit the rprf fee online and take a print out.

No.It has to be paid B 4 visa stamped at your VO(can be paid local currency also)

1) I am unable to get birth certificate as i born before 1989 and there is no record with them. I have been trying since 2 months and no result. so is it ok if we submit notary affidavit along with passport photo copy or tenth certificate. ???

2) Do we need to notarize photo copies of experience letters as well???

No you have to pay it before Sending your PPR. CIC wont issue you Visa or/and COPR if RPRF is outstanding.

I need some help regarding the name in Generic application form 'coz I am not using "Surname" in the passport. Should I write complete Given Name in the Surname and leave the GIven Name field blank? or can it be like a part of Given Name in Surname field and the rest in Given Name?

Same question as above from me too ,i have an 8th May, DD, have chkd with bank today and still not charged ....Does anyone have any idea about it ?

I am in the same boat; however my CC is not yet charged. For DDs i can understand there is a delay in confirming. But for CC, the SS currently shows 18 on 7th may and 14 on 8th may not charged. Is there any hope or is it safe to assume as rejected? Not being pessimistic, just being a realist so that one can start preparing a new application!! :-\

6. Have you, or, if you are the principal applicant, any of your family members listed in your application for permanent residence in Canada, ever:

d) been refused refugee status, an immigrant or permanent resident visa (including a Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ) or application to the

Provincial Nominee Program) or visitor or temporary resident visa, to Canada or any other country?

I checked No, but in past I have applied for US student VISA twice but got rejected.Is there any thing that needs to be done?

Leave it blank no need to put surname if you are not using. to validate the form just put space it will validate the form easily.

I'm a 7th May applicant but not received any e-mail from CIC yet, although my CC was charged one month ago. Do you think it's alright to contact them and ask about my application? because it's more than 10 weeks I sent my application. Does anybody have experience of contacting them recently?

Dear All

I have asked my supervisor to provide me a reference letter on company letter head for which he did but the job responsibility he have mentioned in the letter is not in his own word.

Its a bit generic description available on websites which previously mentioned by my HR in the (contract letter) , i have asked him to write my responsibility in his own words but he refused . He said, i will only mentioned the job description / responsibilities which are defined by HR in contract letter.

Please guide if it is OK , because the description / responsibility seems OK ,but what is acceptable by CIC ???
