Hi Guys, I am new to this forum. My application for NOC 1112 category reached CIC office on 7th May 2014. My payment mode is DD and don't know whether it is encashed, as HDFC bank is not responding to me despite follow up. So far, I have not received PER number. However, based on my last years file number which has UCI number, I can see my status as "In process" and that they have received the file on 7th May 2014. Can anybody further explain what does that mean? Thanks.

Hello Everyone,

I have a question related to Form Schedule 3, 12 b)... I have worked in three different companies without any gap in between, all three corresponds to the same NOC category. Should I mention them as one entry in 12 b) of Schedule 3 or should there be three different entries? Also what should be written under head "Occupation", should it be general description of your position or should it be the text corresponding to NOC category in the NOC 2011 list?

Hi All,

Me and my wife wants to apply for FSW programme, points based on the Review selection factors, our score without IELTS is 44, we both are waiting for the IELTS exam result. If I score 5 points our total will come 49. For making the remaining 18 points, how much minimum score my wife has to score in each module(Listening, Reading, Speaking, Writing).

I have made a call to one consultancy and they are saying that 6 in two modules and 6.5 in other two modules will make my score 18. Consultancies opinion is varying from one firm to another. Really got confused. Please help me.

Till the scores dont come u wont be able to predict how much are u scoring in Language for FSWP...

If u see the link i send u.. u will understand..
If u have
S L R W
6 6 6 6 --> then u get 4 points each...
6.5 7.5 6.5 6.5--> then u score 5 points each
7-9 8-9 7-9 7-9--. then u score 6 points each

For instance ur score is 6, 6, 6.5, 6.5 then u score --> 4+4+5+5=18...And so on...I dont know why u need to rely on consultants when we have this group...

if anyone have got recent WES evaluation, please let me know if they are showing ALL Degree's equivalence or just last qualification?

u can have the HIGHEST degree evaluated for FSWP.. need not have all the degrees evaluated.

WES Requirements

Hi All,
My brother is applying for NOC 1123. He has bachelors degree from home country (Pakistan) and master degree (MBA) from UK. Does he need to get his MBA degree attested by HEC? Probably Pakistani forum members would be able to answer this if any one of them have similar situation.

I have 8 +years as Software Developer/DBA after completing Graduate Degree and am very fluent in Verbal/Written English.
Can somebody tell what are my chances in FSW?
Also suggest what is the best way to improve my chances for getting the visa under FSW.

In my opinion you could easily go for either 2173 or 2174 but not 2171 ... Choose whichever has the least applications ... (2173 is more your role, 2174 not as close but still a very good match)

Thanks a lot for your support. I actually submitted my application as software engineer 2173 which you mentioned but as other guys mentioned that suppose not to be technical statements. ..what do you see about that issue? Please advise

Usually, highest degree evaluation is good enough, however, MBA from UK is usually 1 yr program and generally not considered equivalent to Canadian masters. If he has 4 yr bachelor from Pakistan, then evaluation of both degrees may award him 1-2 additional points. However, if he comfortably crosses 67 point threshold ... only evaluation of UK degree may be enough.

P.S: My scenario was entirely different.

hi, i did my mba from uk n wes recognized it as canadian masters. N i got only my uk degree evaluated, not my indian ones.

Thanks for the quick answer.
His MBA program was of 2 years. Our major concern is that whether we should get his MBA degree attested (or get an equivalency) by HEC (Higher Education Commission) or not? WES specify that for Pakistani institutions, degrees must be attested by HEC. So what should be applicable for his case?

Just one correction.. In writing you need a band of 7-9 to score the maximum i.e 6 points and not 8-9.
