Hi Everyone... I am new for forum applied at NOC 1111 on 9 june received by mike VO sydney australia
I have been residing in Australia since 5 years...after 3 years of master degree am working as an accountant. My query about generic form specially current residence in "To" Date section. is it necessary to fill the date when itself say current date in question and apparently we sign the current date at end of form after validate?

Please anybody would you like to share some opinions
Thanks

You can fill in the day after the date you validate the form and explain in an annexure that it is intended to mean "present."

Seniors & Admin

I have another doubt

Schedule - Address

Presently Iam working in Dubai and

I have visited my home in India for 2 months every year for the past 5 years

Shall I mention each visits time and place where I used to live

and

In Dubai , I have changed my house one time . do I need to mention that also

plz reply

thanks

Yes you must mention all travel in your travel form, even if going back home to visit family from where you are living outside your country.

If your change of apartment occurred within the past 10 years then of course you must list it because you must list all addresses for the past 10 years.

CIC updated the website, almost no change!!!!

Greetings Everyone!

It is my first time here so I will say nice meeting you all.

I am writing because I am applying for my FSW. My consultancy said they have submitted the documents to CIO even though I do not have the result of my IELTS yet. They said it is ok as long as I have the IELTS receipt and they said they have attached a letter explaining that my IELTS is to follow. Same thing with ECA I do not have it yet bu according to them they sent my applications already to the CIO.

They were able to provide me the courier receipt in fact when I did the tracking it was received June 16, 2014.

My question is, Is it really possible to submit an application without the IETS and ECA resut yet?

I hope you can help and enligthen me. Thank you. God Bless all.

Your application WILL BE REJECTED. You need to immediately contact your consultant and claim your money back (if that is an option) because they have clearly misguided you.

.......Tricky question regarding file submission...........

1. I need to have 2 years of work experience to get 67 points. I will complete my two years as Software Engineer ( NOC 2173) on 12th August 2014. Can i send my application signed as 12th August 2014 on 10th August 2014 (just to save 2-3 days...as NOC is filling very fast and doesnt want to loose any more days) as application will take 3-4 days to reach Canada from India.

2. I will get reference letter from my manager on 4-5 August probably. Till then i would not have completed 2 years. Will that be a problem or i have to get that reference letter after 12th August when i would be completing 2 years with the company ?

Please suggest something. Thanks !

I'm not sure, but mostly the forum has answered questions like this with, "two years means two years." I don't think you should risk sending until you are all the way there. Just my opinion.

thanks bro for your reply :)

but what If i have submitted required 6 bands results with application and then I got better score say, 7 bands, then can I update this better score with CIC before getting PER.. :)

If you already have the minimum score and make the pass mark, why do you want to send a better score later?

Sending additional documents to CIC is risky because there is no guarantee they will be matched up and added to your application. Also, apparently last year there was a case where someone successfully sent in a new document, but then the date of receipt of the application was changed to the day the new document arrived. This could take an application that was in the cap and move it out of the cap.

What is your purpose for sending a new IELTS score? Is it worth the risk?

I posted this on the London Visa Office thread but got only one response. Not enough to help me make up my mind. Would request the input of members on this forum.

I'm getting ready to apply for FSW under NOC 1123 - and my application will be submitted within the next couple of weeks. I am an Indian citizen but I live in Denmark. Therefore, technically I could choose either LVO or NDVO. Since I live and work in Europe under LVO jurisdiction, it makes more sense to me that I should put LVO as the visa office. Is there anything I should be aware of? Any reason I should think about choosing NDVO?

Once consideration is that I can't be in India for long period of times. I (and my passport) need to stay in Europe because of my job here. If my application is successful - I can easily send passport to LVO and keep traveling in schengen zone without it (which is what I need to do for my job). Only reason I had a doubt about LVO is because I heard that it can be one of the slowest offices....from the experince of people in previous years. I'm not sure if that is till the case?

Your recommendations??? Thanks in advance!

You have 2 options - NDVO and LVO

- NDVO processing times are comparatively quicker than LVO.
- Passports can be sent via Mail or Courier to LVO but not NDVO because such is illegal in India (to and from)
- NDVO will require that you be physically present for PP submission during stamping.
- NDVO may also accept the PP via a relative with proper authorization letter or you can request NDVO to transfer your stamping to your local consulate which is a time consuming process.

Brother,

I guess u r talking abt "Your Travels" form....

On the top of the form it is menitioned " Other Than ur home country or country of residence" .

So u need not to mention this visits bet India and Emirates.....

And for the address change- write those on the Sch A form...Thats it ......:)

I disagree. I think they mean to say "other than the country where you were living at the time."

Anyway I don't think there's any harm in mentioning this travel.

cap count is updated. Only 9 have been added

Congratulations dmitrych ! Very happy for you ! :) :)

Yes it is really weird why is it taking them so looooong !! I mean come on a month ?? I know 7 May broke their system but they should have recovered by now considering 8 May are getting ECAS updates !!

I've received PER today. Finally!! ;D

Nishesh - thanks for the very useful response! I know that LVO has been slow in the past. Does that remain the case this year too? Any way to quantify how much slower LVO is?
