It is my first time here so I will say nice meeting you all.

I am writing because I am applying for my FSW. My consultancy said they have submitted the documents to CIO even though I do not have the result of my IELTS yet. They said it is ok as long as I have the IELTS receipt and they said they have attached a letter explaining that my IELTS is to follow. Same thing with ECA I do not have it yet bu according to them they sent my applications already to the CIO.

They were able to provide me the courier receipt in fact when I did the tracking it was received June 16, 2014.

My question is, Is it really possible to submit an application without the IETS and ECA resut yet?

I've never heard of anyone being able to do this. I wish you good luck, please let us know what happens.

did you send using a method that offers tracking, such as FedEx, DHL, UPS, or registered mail? If so track by that method.

Need guidance regarding experience certificate please,here are some queries

1. In the last 10 years i have a gap of few days when i shifted a job around 7 years ago...now i heard scary comments that not even a single day without job is acceptable...please guide is it true and if a few days is not a big issue then what to do?..write jobless???

2.Regarding the work experience letters to be sent;what should be the ideal format if someone can guide a give a sample of a good letter please?

3. how important are the additional supporting documents regarding the paper package to be sent under the heading of work experience ,and copies of work contracts means what ? the appointment letter i got for each job??

1) It is not that it shouldnt be without job .. what is important is that you need to mention things accurately (unemployed, travelling , studying ) .. don't leave a gap make sure to mention what you were doing

2) Search the forums here man there are several samples shared.

3) Refer to the document checklist point 12. It mentions all required info and optional info.

Seniors,

My application was received on 28th May 2014. I have submitted my citi bank cc for payment.

As per current trend, it make take another 3 months to get our turn for cc swipe. But recently, my cc limit was enhanced and issued a new card without any information to me, and i received a new credit card. The customer care people says that the old card is valid upto 60 days (probably August end) whereas my old card details (at that time it was valid) were sent to CIC. To inform CIC on this , i have not given any reference number yet.

Please advise me how to proceed further.

I suggest asking Citibank to extend the validity of your card.

i have a query regarding travel documents:

1. Do we need to provide copies of all our passports we have had? I travelled on my old passport but havent travelled on my new one yet.
2. My wife was married to someone else before me but the marriage was not consummated i.e NIKAH only, she travelled abroad during that period with previous husbands data on her passport. That passport is expired now, the new one has my name on it as husband. Shall I provide copies of all passports and visa pages of my wife? I also have the divorce certificate as evidence that she is not the wife of her previous husband anymore.

this is a bit technical, please guide if anybody has knowledge

You don't need to provide any previous passports, only the current one. But on the various forms such as the generic application form, MUST disclose the identity of her ex-husband and provide the divorce certificate.

If I sent my application with an IELTS result with lower bands, Can I submit another result of IELTS before getting PER??

which result will be considered by them?

You mean you intend to submit an IELTS result which is below the minimum threshold? Or one that will not get you enough points to make the pass mark? Your application will be returned without processing. Don't bother, wait until you have a result sheet that is sufficient.

I have sufficient funds in my saving account. But I will be needing to take out 60% in a month, will put back after 2 months. Any issues.

Not a problem as long as the money is yours, and you don't mind explaining that 60% just in case your local VO asks about it.

Did you get a degree from it, or a recognized qualification like CPA? If not, no need to mention it, but you can.
