certainly you will fall under noc 2174. Sorry to say but 2174 is filling too fast. May be by August or max sept it will reach the cap limit.
However you might have chances for noc 2173, however you should have job respo according to software engineer in your reference letter. then only you will pass through it.

Am i fall under 2174 OR 2173? I have over 7 years of experience & 1 Year as a Lead

My Main responsibilities are
1) Coding
2) Testing
3) Designing
4) Team Leading
5) Development

Can i apply under 2173?

All through e-mail.

They will never send physical items or documents in hardcopy? So my address will not be of importance to them?

I am asking because I am not sure whether to use my work mailing address which I can receive mail through or my residential address which I cant receive mail through.

Hello Team,
I have submitted my application but realised that the affidavit i did to replace my birth certificate did not have my parents name but has my place of birth, date of birth e.t.c. please do advice on what to do.
thanks.

Trying to find some information about my application, I called CIC a few minutes ago and entered my UCI and year of birth. It said "we received your application on May 7th" ; I heard this message for the first time. Then I called RBC to verify the status of the DD. After several attempt and talking to the several operators who refrained from giving information (as I did not buy the draft directly), one of them checked the status and said it is still outstanding!! ECAS cannot identify me yet. But I consider this a good news.

Application received date: May 7th Time: 0947 Type of payment: DD NOC 1112

Hi Everyone,

I have a query, i was wondering if any one could help me out with this :

I graduated as Master of Engineering from the University of Waterloo (Canada). I have done my bachelor studies ( B.Tech) from my home country ( India). Due to some circumstances, i did not apply for PnP earlier ( long story, lets not get into the details right now) nor can i apply under CEC ( since i returned home after i graduated), so FSW is the only category i am eligible for.

So, my question is, do i still need to get my education credentials assessed even though i have done my graduate studies in Canada? Does any one else in the forum have the same situation with regards to the education?

Thanks!

Good luck!

Hi Rahul... I think you do not have to get education credential certified for your masters degree...
for the bachelors I think yes...

Guys...my cc was charged today evening... :)
my application was received on 8th may...
Good luck to every1!

Ciao!

Congrats! I suppose now all 8th May applicants will be very happy :)
I wish success to everyone sincerely!!!

Thanks, i am aware that i don't have to get my Master's degree evaluated, since the education was in Canada.

My question was more of a logical nature, would i be required to get the Bachelor's degree assessed, even though i would be claiming points for the Master's degree?

If your experience relates to your bachelor's degree.. it would be safer to get it done... otherwise I think it should be fine.

But I think other guys in forum are more knowledgeable than me and can tell better..
